The point was raised that nobody claimed that Trac was suited for multiple
projects. Given that such a change is pretty large, it is understandable
why this has not been addressed yet. However, to make the claim that 'we
never said we did that' flys in the face of community development.
It seems like a more appropriate and realistic responce is probably:
This is recognized as a defficiency in the product but we don't have the
resources to fix this at the current time. If you would like to
contribute a patch for review, we will certainly take it into
consideration.
