Is there a read-only RPC account available for t.e.o?

I'm trying to configure the t.e.o as a task server in PyCharm 122.790,
but the only option is to use RPC: "http://trac.edgewall.org/login/rpc"
with an user and a password.

Is there a read-only RPC account available, or is it possible
to create one for 3rd party IDEs?

Have a nice day,

Sorry, but the RPC plugin isn't installed on trac.edgewall.org. It could be installed of course, but I'll let others add their opinions first seeing I'm somewhat biased as I maintain the plugin... ;-)

Sadly the RPC plugin is also disabled on trac-hacks.org, but the problem there was that the version was just too old to be safely used. Hopefully that can be remedied once trac-hacks.org gets updated to a (much) more recent Trac version.

It might raise the visibility of open issues, but I'm also biased :D

Is it possible to start with a clean install of latest trunk of Trac,
maybe on another host or in a virtual machine, and then concentrate
on each required plugin? Maybe we can gain some momentum,
and we can get something done :D

I've wanted this as well, to connect using Mylyn with Eclipse.

I have managed to add t.e.o to Mylyn using HTML mode, but I'm using PyCharm for development, so it's a dead end for me.

I wasn't familiar with that option, but I'll check it out. Thanks.
