Hi, We have an open issue in Bloodhound (1) as to whether we should be including the `contrib` directory in the release. The question is whether or not the files in that directory have been granted and licensed under Trac's license. Most of the files in that directory do not have a license header. If any of them are licensed under Trac's license, perhaps we could open an issue and have file headers added that contain the license?

Thank you for your time,
- Ryan

Would anyone object if I submitted a patch that added a license header to each contrib file, using the repository history to assign copyright to the authors and edgewall as appropriate? I'd be happy to try to contact original authors as well if there are any license ambiguities. From what I could tell, most of the files in `contrib` came from core developers, so I'm not anticipating there will be many issues.

I haven't checked the changelog for the files, but assuming the above is
correct, sounds good to me.

Thanks! I'll go through the history and post the analysis to this ticket, along with a patch:
