I want to change the location of drop down menus in the trac ticket page.  How do can I do that?
Does anyone have an example where they changed the layout of the basic trac ticket webpage?

Your previous post was a bit more unclear in wording, so I prefer to
start with this one. The other might even be a duplicate?

For changing Trac content when it comes to the ticket page and
especially the properties box in the top of page, there is no such thing
like DynamicFieldsPlugin [1], or BlackMagicTicketTweaksPlugin [2] with a
slightly different focus.

No idea, what it means to you. The page has a Genshi template, but you
may want to reply by asking about Genshi, so I recommend to read more
generally about Trac web-UI customization [3].

Should have got the general pattern by now: You'll consult the
authoritative TracGuide at trac.edgewall.org for all your questions
first, won't you? And perhaps the mailing-list archive too. Certainly
you'll still get your answers here, just not as fast as you could, if
your questions show more about the effort spend on finding the answer
yourself before. Thanks for taking care.

Sincerely,

Steffen Hoffmann

Just noticed after sending the previous reply, that you posted this one
to the development mailing-list. Don't. Please follow-up on Trac-users
for any support question instead, because this on here is meant for
development question. And cross-posting is not the best habit to start
conversations anyway. Please take care.

Steffen,

Here is a screen shot of what I am working on.

In the top ticket priorities block I want to keep only the “Eval Board Rating Low 1 – High 5” drop down list and remove everything else (Priority, Component, Assign to, Milestone, Keywords and Cc).

In the bottom ticket priorities block I want to remove the “Eval Board Rating Low 1 – High 5” drop down list and keep everything else (Priority, Component, Assign to, Milestone, Keywords and Cc).

What is the technique within TRAC to perform this task?

I can turn on features like drop down lists in the trac.ini file but that does not allow me to reposition any drop down list on the webpage.  It places any newly added functions (like drop down menus) in a default location on the webpage.

I have been experimenting with a custom cascade style sheet but has put me in the above situation.

Any advice would help… in the mean time I will attempt to check in to your suggested resources you have emailed.

Thanks.  Keban Kietzmann

Hi,

for rearranging ticket fields, have you looked at http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/GroupTicketFieldsPlugin?
