Very interesting indeed. Specially, when you consider the reputation of Mr 10 Percent from the 1990s. The film was a huge success, and the songs of the film were basically message oriented. It definitely showed a female persona of a Benazir like leader, being betrayed by her husband. Habib Jalib had uncannily, given a one-line story that played itself out symbolically. It was, once again, a unique premonition of the reality that Jalib had put on the map. He had sensed the emergence of a new system in the world politics and all the mayhem being let loose in the country. His title song, Choron kee Baraat was a comment on the social ills that were too evident. The songs, composed by Wajahat Attre, were quite popular, and especially its number, Ab na akeley mein jia ghabraey ga was a very melodious one. The film by Sajjad Gul and Iqbal Kashmiri was a good hit.
