We also have the same problem with the new map viewer Everything seems to work fine in the old map viewer and/or web app builder. We started to use the new map viewer and experience builder because we wanted to group layers and make use of all the new widgets in EB. Now all of our bigger project running on the new map viewer and in Experience builder are so slow. I do not want to convert back to the old map viewer and webappbuilder, because we really like and find the new funcionalities in EB and new map viewer very useful.

Are you seeing Map Viewer behaving slow or Experience Builder? I checked the load times for the maps in Map Viewer and was seeing 3.5-4 seconds with both maps from the 2 different experience builder links. Map Viewer Classic was showing roughly 4-4.5 seconds for me.
Both, Experience Builder and the new map viewer are slow in mye opinion. Turning on and off sublayers, using the draw and print widgets. Working with the symbology, labels etc on the map layers, moving around in the map and more. For me this works so much quicker in the old web map and web app builder unfortunately.
I like ArcGIS Pro. It is clearly a step forward in many ways. But why is it so slow for what are very simple things that should be nearly instantaneous. For example, if I want to adjust the symbology of something, ever single step causes the program to whir and think for about ten seconds, even when the layer is turned off! What exactly does it have to think about when the layer is not even rendering?
My data are local, although with one basemap loaded. Oddly, things are just as slow to respond when I turn off all the layers and pause all the maps. It still does something every time I interact with the program. Its almost like it redraws everything regardless of whether the map is paused or the layers turned off.
UPDATE: I've tried a few things on a few machines and I think I am onto something. At least with graphic elements in the layout the issue "SLOW REFRESH / RENDER" seems to be directly related to the amount of graphics in the layout; a few graphics will refresh reasonably fast, 200+ graphics which is average for a typical static legend refreshes MUCH slower. Create a copy of the legend in the same layout (What I would often do in ArcMap as a backup of the legend) and the selection/render/drawing will slow down accordingly with the increased amount of graphic elements. There is some very inefficient looping going on behind the scenes coupled with the curious fact that ALL graphic elements have a corresponding item in the TOC. Yes. I understand the intentions of being able to order things like layers in Adobe but having 100s of graphics constantly updating on screen and in the TOC is causing some issues. Adobe doesn't seem to have this issue. I didn't even get into re-doing some really complex geology maps with 1000s of graphics yet. Not looking forward to it. I will take a video capture documenting this observation and post.
Thanks Tom, this idea helped me find the issue that was causing the slow performance that so many people are mentioning here. Slowness issues making your project unusable just by selecting elements, refreshing layouts and maps, or adding data... I had one element in my content pane that only had 12 items named "Text" in incrementing order. I unchecked that element to turn if off and instantly everything started functioning properly. Any idea what could be behind this issue?
It is not always slow, but it has times where it just doesn't allow me to work as I should. I tried closing all other apps and windows, restarting my device and re-opening the workflows. None of this really help as if it started doing this, it seems to be consistent for a couple of days. I then finish what I'm busy with, with some frustration, and when I get back to Alteryx in a couple days, it runs better before running into the same issues.
If I disconnect from the internet, the workflow UI is a quick experience again.
I'm not sure what they changed, but the program is horrifically slow. I would say unusable. It should not take 35 seconds to paste a single formula tool.
im suffering with slowness, yesterday i decided to go visit IT they wiped my profile, as the install we have at work actually adds to your LOCAL folder, increasing the folder size by 2.8GB. ive now installed to a developer area i have, which horribly added ELEVATED, so canvas wasnt DRAG and DROP-ABLE. i have now just moved that folder to a c:\nonad\ folder, and its seeming to be working without elevated. "WIN".
but its still really slow, not responding window, and even windows has crashed messages. I removed the default view of SQL connections from VISUAL back to text. This speeds up that portion, but from reading above, someone else removed some auto config on macros. Maybe theres some logic being performed, which slows down. i will need to find a way to make this software run lean.
I've been having this problem as well. I came here to see if there was any advice. Also, the app won't autofill. Even though the popup appears, nothing happens when trying to log into apps or webpages on the iPad. I assume this is because the app itself is so slow. Any one have advice for us?
I reached out for support from LastPass. The advice was to make sure that KeyChain autofill was turned off and to restart the iPad, which made a small improvement at first but still some of the webpage auto-fills just wouldn't work. Now it seems it's better but it's still very slow and just not working as well as it did just a couple months ago. I thought it was perhaps related to the latest iPadOS update?
Same issue here. LastPass, please fix. A key reason for choosing your service was iOS compatibility. I now have to manually paste passwords in because autofill either does not work at all or is so slow as to be useless.
I am also seeing the same issue. Extremely slow on iPad and no issues with iPhone or Windows device. Have tried the Keychain thing, removing and reinstalling the app , cleaning cache, enough availabe space on iPad, etc.
I am running Radeon Pro Graphics here as it works good for other cad tools too. One interesting thing is that win 10 has the ability to report the GPU id and usage via the task manager. In comparing 17.4 to 17.2 on the exact same design and exactly the same hardware the gpu stats are basically very similar, kind of splitting hairs really but on my monitor whats actually getting rendered is slower in 17.4 than 17.2. It is plausible that the GPU Metric that shows in the task manager is not really representing what is physically getting drawn on the monitor but only looking at a lower level such as gpu cycles etc .... Not too sure.
At any time of year, a slow cooker can make life a little more convenient because by planning ahead, you save time later. Opening the front door on a cold winter evening and being greeted by the inviting smells of beef stew or chicken noodle soup wafting from a slow cooker can be a diner's dream come true. But winter is not the only time a slow cooker is useful. In the summer, using this small electrical appliance can avoid introducing heat from a hot oven. And it takes less electricity to use a slow cooker rather than an oven.
Keep perishable foods refrigerated until preparation time. If you cut up meat and vegetables in advance, store them separately in the refrigerator. The slow cooker may take several hours to reach a safe, bacteria-killing temperature. Constant refrigeration assures that bacteria, which multiply rapidly at room temperature, won't get a "head start" during the first few hours of cooking.
Always thaw meat or poultry before putting it into a slow cooker. Choose to make foods with a high moisture content such as chili, soup, stew or spaghetti sauce. If using a commercially frozen slow cooker meal, prepare according to manufacturer's instructions.
Large cuts of meat and poultry may be cooked safely in a slow cooker, however since slow cookers are available in several sizes, consult the instruction booklet for suggested sizes of meat and poultry to cook in your slow cooker.

A typical Pernil recipe is slow roasted in the oven with a huge slab of fat on top, which gets crispy as it cooks. My lightened version, I use a boneless shoulder blade roast, trimmed of all the fat. This dish is easy enough to make as a weeknight meal.
Under this campaign, we map and provide coordinates to areas where right whales were detected (i.e., visually sighted or acoustically detected). Following a right whale detection, a visually-triggered Slow Zone (a.k.a. DMA) or acoustically-triggered Slow Zone will remain in effect for 15 days. During this time, mariners are requested to avoid the areas or slow all vessels to 10 knots or less to prevent collisions with right whales.
Providing more information to vessel operators about visual sightings and acoustic detections, allows them to be more proactive - by avoiding these areas or slowing to 10 knots or less - in reducing the risks all boats pose to right whales.
For small boaters, colliding with a whale can be especially dangerous for you, your passengers and destructive to your vessel. Given how difficult right whales can be to spot from the water, slowing down in these zones helps keep everyone safe.

*Cook time: Because slow cookers can vary significantly with temperature levels, I recommend checking the dip every 30 minutes or so to be sure that it does not accidentally overcook. Once the cheese is melted and slightly bubbly, it will be ready to go!
