Hi all-
New user here. I'm attempting to follow the directions in the manual to create a new contest file. The contest is the Arizona QSO Party.

My config file is included. When I load it on startup, an error appears: "Invalid statement in config file. Line 10 CONTEST=AZ QSO PARTY." If I attempt to edit it in the in-program config editor, CONTEST field is greyed out. FWIW, I'm running on linux using wine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Howie knows best on new contests but you cannot change the name of the contest so the line CONTEST=AZ QSO PARTY would not work. If I recall, you would use an existing QSO party that the program supports but you override the DOM file to point to a new file that has the AZ counties in it.
Note there is an AZ.Dom file so you could have a new DON called AZQSO that had the following lines:

INCLUDE FILE AZ.DOM
INCLUDE FILE S50.DOM

You then reference that file in the DOM file config. At the end, you have to change the Cabrillo and ADIF names too in the generated files. I am not able to provide more details on doing it this way as I just go in and create a new contest in the code. But when I went over to GitHub to add an issue, I found this issue from 2018 that is EXACTLY on point...https://github.com/n4af/TR4W/issues/362 Read that and you can get going until we can get something added. I too would like to see every QSO party added with native support. It is all in the time to do it. As the AZ QSO party is not until October 12, I think we can get that added in plenty of time. I honestly thought this had been rolled up into the 7th area QSO party so I did not even know the individual AZ QSO party was still a thing.

Update: I fixed the score problem. I'm still working on the window size issue.

very much! I am in Arizona so the QTHs are US states, Canadian provinces, and DXCC prefixes. I think that's one of the default choices. Anyway, this issue seems to be resolved now. I'm not getting an error any more.

May I ask you two other quick questions? Is there anyway to reduce the number of columns displayed? My window won't resize- (I suspect maybe that's wine?)- and It looks like there might be additional Columns I'm not seeing.

Also, The score reads zero even when I enter contacts. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks!
