Impossible to run TR4W on a PC with Win11Pro

Dear friends,

Recently I have been attacked by hackers, who actually disabled my PC with many valuable data and apps. One of them is the TR4W logger. After installation I tried to run the logger, but it refused with the following report:

Exception ElnOut Error in module tr4w.exe at 0002617D. File access   denied.

I have absolutely no idea where this address could be located and why this exception error occurred.

Could anyone help me?

Can it be that WinPro11 forbids the use of any such "weird apps"?

Hi Jaro -

try removing tr4w with win uninstall.

then create & install to a user directory- like c:\tr4w

Exactly. That’s the log trying to write. It just occurred to me if you install in windows, you can’t do that. 

Besides the advice to install the program in c:\tr4w, I will find an alternative place for the log in this situation.
