to TR4W
I am pleased to announce that NY4I will take over steering the ship.

For months Tom has been doing the bulk of the coding and he has some
great ideas for further improvements.

Tom has also revised the release documentation to provide a higher level
of granularity and GREATLY increased the number of enhancements to
TR4W- all while automating much of the build process.

Please take a moment to review the TR4W release notes to see the number of changes and enhancements Tom has made to TR4W !

to TR4W

Thanks Howie.

Your dedication has been unparalled since this was moved to an open source project years ago.

As I mentioned, your guidance has been invaluable. I hope we can all still count on your ideas and ability to test SO2R like no one else can.

As always, this program will survive with the features people want by hearing from our users. If you have not used TR4W in awhile or migrated away in favor of other programs, take another look. Whether it native support for networked radios (Elecraft K4, Flex, Icom, Kenwood) to the drastic inmprovements to the bandmap to lesser used features like full CWByCAT and YCCC SO2R support, this program continues on with its ease of use but also full features. We use this at every Field Day as new people love how easy it is to learn. But advanced users also get much out of it.

No doubt we are missing some features taken for granted in other programs. I have many of those on my roadmap (much better RTTY support), a slightly more modern user interface, Mac and Linux support and others. That list is very much driven by you, the users.
