A few days ago I got my NCJ and when I read the results of the January NAQP I was shocked to see I had lost 10 multipliers in the log checking. I sent a note to Bruce, WA7BNM, and he graciously provided me with a UBN report. It turns out all of my nine North America contacts outside of the US and Canada lacked the QTH info in the Cabrillo file. I had logged them correctly in TR4W, it counted them as multipliers and showed them in the summary sheet. Unfortunately it left the QTH portion of the exchange blank in the Cabrillo file. I checked the latest version of TR4W and it is still doing the same thing. It can easily be corrected with a text editor but hopefully will be corrected before the next NAQP in August.

Looking back over my NAQP entries since switching to TR4W a little over 2 years ago it appears this problem has been there since I began using it. The DOS version of TR correctly included DX QTH in the Cabrillo file. I had more DX multipliers than I normally do in last's contest January or I might not have noticed it.

I guess another lesson learned here is to always carefully check the Cabrillo file before submitting it!
