Dear TP Management,

The TP Watchers would like to let you know that we are alarmed when we heard the news about an agent from Scandisk account who was suspended for just simply expressing his views on the on-going salary issue in the company. According to him, he was 'suspended for 30 days and recommended for termination.'

The TP Watchers oppose that action and are committed to fight for the labor right of every TP employee. We stand up for what the Constitution states:

'The State shall afford full protection to labor, local and overseas, organized and unorganized, and promote full employment and equality of employment opportunities for all.

'It shall guarantee the rights of all workers to self-organization, collective bargaining and negotiations, and peaceful concerted activities, including the right to strike in accordance with law. They shall be entitled to security of tenure, humane conditions of work, and a living wage. They shall also participate in policy and decision-making processes affecting their rights and benefits as maybe provided by law.

'The State shall promote the principle of shared
responsibility between workers and employers and the
preferential use of voluntary modes in settling
disputes, including conciliation, and shall enforce
their mutual compliance therewith to foster industrial peace.

'The State shall regulate the relations between
workers and employers, recognizing the right of labor to its just share in the fruits of production and the right of enterprises to reasonable returns to investments, and to expansion and growth.'

We believe that the company is in violation of the agent’s right to freedom of expression and labor law. We want you to investigate on this issue before we let the public know this through media. We also want you to look into the issue of retention bonus for the Sprint account, for we  receive lots of complaints about it.

By the way, this effort of our organization has been disseminated all over. We’ve been receiving unsolicited emails from different media organizations here and abroad to have our story featured in their magazines, newspapers, cable and radio programs. For you to believe in us, please see the attachment or click here. The  attached is just one of  the emails we have received.

In the spirit of fairness, we are bringing this concern to your attention so you can address this at the soonest possible time. We are looking forward to hear from you soon before we give our official statement to media.

Respectfully,

TP Watchers
