NFBTX 2017 Scholarship Program is Live

The NFB Texas scholarship application has just been released! This scholarship is available to all blind and low vision students in Texas who will be attending, or already in college. Good luck to all who apply!

Hello all you awesome Texans,

Just a quick note to let you know that our 2017 scholarship program is now accepting applications. You guys do a great job of promoting this program, and I want to ask you to help again this year. Our online application is live at the link below.

If students cannot apply electronically, we can print a copy of the form to send to them via snail mail. We encourage electronic submissions unless the individual absolutely cannot find a way to access the form electronically. If any of you are willing to help with online applications for people who cannot do it themselves, I would be happy to have your help. Kayleigh will be busy for most of the summer with BELL and Youth Slam. So, I would love to have volunteers. We may not need a lot of help, but you never know.

I would love to have a Spanish language version of the application. So, if any of you can help me to translate it, I would be grateful. Just send me a quick note, and I will get some or all of the text to you. If I have more than one volunteer, I may split it up just to get it done more quickly.
