Join us for the 4th Annual 5K to rally support for the Texas Parents Of Blind Children!

The Texas Parents of Blind Children (TPOBC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit parents’ group. We are a division of the National Federation of the Blind of Texas (NFBT) and of the National Organization of Parents of Blind Children (NOPBC) and we are dedicated to promoting opportunities for blind children in Texas.

Our 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk benefits the TPOBC, Texas Parents of Blind Children, which provides children vital support, encouragement, and promotes blindness skills, fostering self-esteem, and utilizing blind adult role models to build a solid foundation for a productive life with maximum independence.

We encourage you to be a part of this amazing run as your participation and donations will help us raise money to start new programs and to pay the bills to run our group, such as our website, newsletter, displays, information, referrals, alerts, advocacy meetings, teacher trainings, parent seminars, speakers, social events for families, and brochures.

On race day, please sign the Release of Liability:
In consideration of my participation in the TPOBC Walk/Run, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or damage done to my person or party that may occur during said participation, or while I am on the premises utilized by said event I hereby release and hold harmless the sponsor associated with this event from any and all injury damage or expense suffered by me.
