-> add new printer -> old printer not on the list -> local printer -> Dot1-001 -> find HP 1015 on the list if not found run "Windows Update" below the right side of the list waiting its ending and find it again.
HP only offered DOT4 for USB connection which doesn't work. I did try other HP universal print drivers offered on the site which were supposed to be able to drive just about anything. When using DOT4 via USB my printer does recognise that something is being sent because the data light flashes but either nothing prints, or if I press the green button on the printer I get pages blank, except for one row of meaningless symbols across the very top.
I have gone through all the different solution instructions on all the trouble-shooting web-pages I can find, used the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool and my own PC's trouble-shooting feature. I've been trying all solutions offered for the last two days but so far nothing has worked.
According to the web-page the DOT4 file was created back in May and as yet there isn't a newer version. It appears that USB connection is the only option now as I continually get error messages if I try to send to print via the LPT1 parallel port which worked up until a few days ago.
Please help me if anyone can brief me how to install my old printer HP laserjet 1015 into my new laptop window 10(64bit). I also need the driver as well, please guide me where i can get the driver. My printer does not work when i use my new window 10 OS.
Anybody know where to get a driver for win 10 x64 for the HP Laserjet 1015. Windows no longer lists it in its printer list and the one it did wouldn't do 1200 DPI anyway....?? Ive tried many on the net and even from HP themselves but nothing works.
Home / Printer Drivers / HP / DeskJetDownload HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 1015 Printer DriverHP DeskJet Ink Advantage 1015 is an entry-level inkjet printer designed for home and small office use. It offers basic printing functionality and is designed to provide affordable and reliable printing solutions.
Can't find my previous post and will respond to the reply that I was sent. So I repeat my question. I need a driver for the HP LaserJet 1015 printer for Windows 7 (64). The printer is turned on and connected via a USB port. But the printer setup program does not fix it: waiting for the printer to be connected. Windows printer finds and puts drivers, but it does not appear in the list of installed printers.
2) On this page: -en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-1015-printer/377936 after downloading and unpacking the archive, directories appear in which there is no file with the exe extension at all. Where is the driver file?
However, how do I now delete extra copies of HP LaserJet 1015 printers. The fact is that in the "Devices and printers" window they are not displayed. And in the program word- all of them are, but from there they can not be removed. Cm. printskrins
I recently bought a M1 MacBook Air. I updated to Monterey and installed my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 1015 printer. Everything seems to be fine (The printer is recognized and installed just fine) But when I try to print nothing happens. Any error message, but the printer doesn't print anything.
I tried every possible solution listed. I contacted HP (No response over there). Tried to install the driver package for HP printers provided by Apple (Doesn't work on Monterey). Deleted the printer, setting up again, etc.
I am not sure what to suggest, other than talking to HP. You could try removing that Inkjet driver, but I don't know if that will make things worse. Since that was one of the filters used for the job, I doubt that it will work. Sorry that I can't be of any help, but HP needs to address this.
I bought my HP Color Laserjet CM1015 MFP about 5 years ago. It worked flawlessly on Windows Vista (unsure of 32/64-bit). This worked well on Windows 7 64-bit on two different machines (I upgraded to a new machine about six months ago). Just about two months ago it started to have problems with not being discoverable always. This was after HP Software Update program downloading an upgrade.
The amount of time I spent on this is ridiculous:-( I have an expensive, top notch hardware printer/scanner/copier. I hate to throw it away for lack of drivers. I welcome any workarounds (such as print servers or anything else that can revive color printing).
You may also want to see if the print processor you are using now is somehow not correct and only allowing mono printing. It is in Printer properties -Advanced-Print Processor. There may be several and you might try plain WinPrint select RAW as the data type. Have seen some HP Print Processors mess things up.
CompAndSave is proud to offer affordable prices on our replacement HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 1015 ink cartridges that boast genuine-like quality and satisfaction. Why choose CompAndSave in shopping for HP 1015 ink cartridges?
Yes, it is fine to use non-HP ink cartridges for your printer. CompAndSave ink cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications, so they will work the same way as the original ones at a much lesser price. On top of that, our products are also covered with a 1-year warranty. Please note that using third-party ink cartridges will not void your printer warranty. Click our ink knowledge base, and you will be redirected to the right page.
The answer is no. HP 60 and HP 61 are not interchangeable. HP DeskJet 1015 printer only uses HP 61 or HP 61XL ink cartridges. Printers that use HP 60/HP 60XL ink cannot use HP 61/HP 61XL ink cartridges and vice versa. Using the wrong ink model in your printer will not be recognized by the printer and might cause some damage. So to avoid this, make sure to only install the right cartridge model in your printer.
If what you mean by "different" is a different brand, then the answer is yes, you can. Just make sure that the toner cartridge that you are going to use is the right model for your printer. CompAndSave offers replacement, remanufactured, or compatible toner cartridges that are designed to match the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same quality and number of prints without paying as much compared to original toner cartridges. For people to be able to compare page yields between different printers and manufacturers, there is one industry-wide testing methodology. Canon, HP, Epson, Lexmark and other industry leading manufacturers have worked closely with the InternationalStandards Organization (ISO) to establish this standard. It is called "ISO/IEC 24711".
Page yield data should be used as a starting point for comparison purposes, and not to predict the exact yield you will get from your printer and cartridge. Likewise, the declared yield is not intended to be the minimum number of pages that the cartridge will print. Rather, page yield data is meant to estimate the average yield expected from a particular cartridge when measured using the ISO test methodology in connection with a designated printer system. Individual cartridges can perform above and below this average due to variation in the cartridge manufacturing process. Additionally, actual yield varies considerably based on factors such as the content of printed pages, typical printer job size, the environmental conditions during operation and the amount of color printing relative to monochrome printing.
- The test methodology that manufacturers should use to determine ink cartridge yields
- The way manufacturers should declare yield values from these test results
- The appropriate method of describing the yield of cartridge in documentation supplied to the consumer
Although the ISO standard does not provide a specified document for photo printing, most manufacturers print something like these selected 24 photos on 10x15cm size Glossy Photo Paper continuously, with the default driver settings for the paper using standard Windows printer drivers in borderless printing mode. This complies with ISO methodology ISO/IEC 24711.
Selected patterns like this are used only for A3+ printers. The inkjet yields are determined by printing a 279.4x355.6mm (11"x14") image like this on A3+ size Glossy Photo Paper continuously with the default driver settings for this paper, using standard Windows printer drivers.
In recent years, Laser Printer and Multi Functional Product yield data has been calculated using standard ISO test methodologies. The specific ISO/IEC standard used depends upon whether the printer is a monochrome or color device. ISO provides different methodologies for testing color and monochrome printer yields. Previous to the introduction of the ISO/IEC yield methodologies, manufacturers usually had their own proprietary yield test methodology based on 5% coverage which used a methodology similar in many ways to the ISO yield methodology.
Some printers include an "introductory" or "starter" cartridge in the printer box, which may print less than the cartridges we have here on the Printzone site. The printer packaging will usually indicate whether introductory cartridges are included with the printer.
