Chromatic is receptive to the idea of improving the look of Perl.com.   The only restriction is that we need to leave the Tom Christiansen ad on the page.

Hi Daniel,

The TPF marketing committee is interested in contributing a new design to
the Perl.com site, in hopes of sprucing it up, and building a unified theme
for all of the Perl sites.     Would you be willing to work with them to
make this happen?

Yes, of course.

Are there any restrictions on the design imposed by
our agreement with Tom Christiansen?

Only that we continue to host a small advertisement for his consultancy in the
sidebar.

To clarify - does that mean the banner advert can be removed?

Last time I asked it had to be there.

Cheers

Might be irrelevant for our point of view, but the link for Tom Christiansen actually doesnt work at all ;)

That banner ad should remain. It is bringing in significant income for TPF.
