Dear Parents,

I wanted to let you know some details about our upcoming events

On October 14th we will be going to the Haunted Trail at Balboa Park. The Haunted Trail opens at 7 pm. We will leave church at 5:30 and stop for dinner on the way to Balboa Park. Admission is $13.99. Please send them with money for a ticket and dinner.

This Saturday is the church clean-up. It starts at 8:30 am.

Next Monday (October 8) I would like to take the high schoolers on a tour of Point Loma Nazarene University. I believe they have the day off as it is Columbus day. PLNU does not get the day off and I thought it would be a good opportunity. I would take them to the chapel service and give them a tour of the campus. We would also eat lunch in the cafeteria. If your high schooler would like to go please let me know so I can make arrangements.

I forgot one thing. Attached is a questionnaire for the youth to fill out. The youth that were at the meeting this past Sunday have already filled it out. For those that did not, please fill it out and return it to me or Lauren this Sunday in Sunday school. This will help the activity director at Sunrise Assisted Living pair each of the youth with one of their residents.

A friendly reminder that new permission/medical forms and TPCC Off-Campus Policies need to be completed BEFORE any youth will be allowed to participate in an off-campus activity.  For those who did not attend the parent meeting, please email me and I will send the forms electronically.
