For your information, the 2nd Tasmanian Weeds Conference will be held
on the 16th and 17th of November in Launceston.

"Weeds are one of the greatest threats facing the biodiversity
and productivity of our landscapes. A changing climate will
only create more challenges for us. We need to learn and
work together to combat these threats.
To provide an opportunity for all involved in weed
management to learn, share information and move forward
together, the Tasmanian Weed Society will hold its second
State conference in Launceston from 16–17 October 2008.
The conference will feature local and interstate speakers,
including ecologist and author, Tim Low, who will deliver
the Keynote Address. For more information
