About the proposal of bus service,

The Task list until now:
[1] Data Collect
Data about students' demand: come to OED, get some information.
[We could do it next Tues, I will care the form and what data to
collect]
Data about Car O-D. [Who do this?]
[2] Basic Simulation Model
Road, Bus Stop and Traffic Lights.
[Who do this?]
[3] Add bus route and calibrate the simulation model.
[Who do this?]
[3] Proposal idea thinking. each of us responsible for one topic.

[4] Learning Paramics
All of us should do it.

Sorry for late reply, I got something wrong with my laptop...

[1] Data Collection----we do it together, or better if some other groups want to join us.

     Shuttle bus data: from OED, have u try to send mail to OED about it?

     O-D Table, we check on Tue with other group and find if 1 or 2 group want to join us. 

         my suggestion: 10 mins counting for 4 locations (Entrance A, B, PGP and the one near NUH ) and 4 shifts

         have u ever try if Paramics support 4 O-D matrix? if not, then we have only one O-D, collection will be easy. 

      * Better we can finish before 12-October

[2] Basic Simulation Model----I think everyone of us do one separately, then we choose a best one, that is also a chance for us to practice the software as well as to see the differences.

       * Finish before 19-October

       * Each one of us can keep the key for 2 days to do the basic simulation

[3] Proposal idea thinking. each of us responsible for one topic.    

        I think each of us find one Scenario, then total we have 3 scenarios, I suggest 

                                   1) keep the current route, change frequency. 

                                   2) Add University town, NUH MRT, and Kent Ridge new terminal, new route

                                   3) let us think together.....

        * Finish draft before 2-Nov, then we evaluate it and make changes

I will begin now to write the part of Introduction and area of study (Part I and II), as well as I will try to make some models of building

Xuyan, could you please make a "big" map for the simulation? either on google maps or google earth or other resources, I try many times, but not satisfied. 

Tomorrow we can discuss further more and to check if other group can join us.

    [2] For first part, I did not understand why 4 O-D, though paramics supports 4 O-D.
    [3] I will submit my map in Group.

and the scale value is in the left-down side, it is very small.
