Currently I have a Master 100 Ton. By next June I will be the Captain for a new 330 Ton Power Boat.
The Boat will operate in the US and Europe.
What courses and training are required in order to upgrade my license?

Thank you for your post.
The boat will be a power boat. It is being built for a private owner. He intends to use the boat for pleasure for a couple of years then explore placing the boat into charter work.
It will be 115 feet, all steel with Aluminum Super Structure.

My employer's security seems to be blocking access to upgrades for Lectora 19. In order to request an exception, it would be very helpful if eLearning Brothers published a list of what servers must be accessible (including any nonstandard ports and protocols) in order to use the in-app upgrade.

I'll check with our team regarding your question on server accessibility and if there are specific ports and protocols needed in order to upgrade within the platform. I'll follow up on this thread as soon as I have new information (which I hope is soon).

This article outlines the requirements to upgrade a VMware vSAN cluster between major and minor versions.

Note: Depending on the desired target version, there may be intermediate steps required to ensure a smooth and effective upgrade process. Ensure you review the relevant section in detail. Please check the Product Interoperability Matrix link =1 for the upgrade path to ensure.

An upgrade is when you buy a mobile device through Verizon to replace a mobile device that's already using a line on your account.

You can upgrade by buying a new or certified pre-owned device, and paying full price or using device payments. (The device must be "upgrade eligible" to use device payments).

You can also replace a device on your account with a device you already own. Learn more on the Bring your own mobile device FAQs.

To learn if your current device can be upgraded, go to your Device overview in My Verizon. Scroll down to view your devices. "Upgrade now" appears under eligible devices.

To find the upgrade eligibility date for other devices, tap the device, then tap Check Upgrade Options.

No. Pending orders must be completed or removed before you can upgrade a device

An Account Owner or Account Manager can remove a pending order on your My orders page in My Verizon. Tap or click View pending account changes then follow the prompts to delete the pending account change.

Learn more on our Pending Account Changes page.

Yes. You can upgrade an upgrade-eligible, non-phone device (e.g., mobile hotspot, tablet, smartwatch, etc.).

If you use device payments for the new device, then you can only upgrade to the same type of device (i.e., a connected device or a tablet/internet/home device). If you pay full price, you can upgrade to any device type, including a phone.

Unlimited Ultimate includes access to our best phone deals, guaranteed*. That's our best trade in offers and Buy more save more offers.

After you switch or pay off your device you have access to our best device deals every 36 months or when your device is paid off, as long as you have Unlimited Ultimate.

*Your line must stay on Unlimited Ultimate for a full 36 months to get the best promotional discounts. If you change to any other plan you lose the rest of the promotional value.

If you have a device on your account that's "upgrade eligible" you can transfer that eligibility to a device on your account that isn't eligible.

When you transfer eligibility to another device, the original eligible device:

For details on what happens for shops that do not complete the upgrade of their Information, Shipping, and Payment pages by the August 13, 2024 deadline, refer to the Impact of missing the August 13, 2024 deadline.

You can use Shopify Checkout to accept orders and receive payments wherever you sell online. If your store is on the Shopify Plus plan, then you can use Checkout Extensibility to add apps and advanced branding customizations in a way that's upgrade-safe and works with Shop Pay.

This guide describes new ways that you can use Checkout Extensibility to customize your Checkout, Thank you and Order Status pages on Shopify if you're currently a store on the Shopify Plus plan. Use the Checkout Extensibility Upgrade Kit to learn more about how to assess and replace your current checkout customizations.

Checkout Extensibility is a faster, better performing, more secure, and upgrade-safe option than checkout.liquid for checkout customizations. Checkout Extensibility also works seamlessly with Shop Pay. By upgrading to Checkout Extensibility, you can take advantage of several of the following new features and capabilities:

Checkout Extensibility lets you create checkout customizations that are built into apps. These apps are fast to install and upgrade-safe. To add to this, Checkout Extensibility is continuously evolving to meet your needs through new or improved features, alongside new apps.

Checkout Extensibility isn't compatible with checkout.liquid, additional scripts, or apps using script tags. You must remove or replace your checkout.liquid, thank you page, and order page customizations in order to use Checkout Extensibility.

August 13, 2024 is the deadline to upgrade from checkout.liquid to Checkout Extensibility for the Information, Shipping, and Payment pages. Checkout.liquid is deprecated and has not been updated with new functionality since 2021. With ever changing regulations worldwide, including the introduction of card industry rules under PCI DSS v4, checkout.liquid is less secure than Checkout Extensibility, and we must discontinue its support.

Starting August 14, 2024, as we begin the process of shutting down checkout.liquid for the Information, Shipping, and Payment pages completely, shops that are not upgraded will see the following impacts:

August 28, 2025 is the deadline for Plus merchants to upgrade from checkout.liquid to Checkout Extensibility for the Thank you and Order status pages. This also includes updating apps that use script tags to alternatives and replacing additional scripts with apps that use Checkout UI extensions and Shopify Pixels on those pages. Shopify Scripts will also be shut off on this date, but will continue to work alongside Checkout Extensibility until then. Scripts should be replaced with Shopify Functions before this date.

A report identifying the existing customizations to your checkout is automatically generated for you and is available in the Shopify admin and as a downloadable CSV file. Use this report to simplify your review of your existing checkout customizations and to help you upgrade to Checkout Extensibility faster.

You can still upgrade to Checkout Extensibility even if you can't replicate all of your existing customizations to checkout.liquid, additional scripts, and apps. You can choose to upgrade all pages or only Checkout pages when publishing.

In the Upgrade to Checkout Extensibility section, click View personalized report to open the report that contains information about existing customizations in your checkout, including the following data:

Consider installing checkout apps from the Shopify App Store to enhance your checkout through added functionalities that can help you grow conversions, increase average order value, and more. Checkout Blocks is a free app that offers a wide range of simple customizations, but there are many more available in the app store.

Only stores that previously had checkout.liquid active can qualify to revert back their Checkout pages after upgrading to Checkout Extensibility until August 13, 2024. All stores can revert their Thank you and Order status pages. Stores can contact Shopify Plus Support to request to revert to checkout.liquid when there isn't an option to revert to checkout.liquid on your own. Approval to revert isn't guaranteed.

Although we will transfer the documents from your previous evaluation to your upgrade, we may not be able to use your previously submitted documents if our document requirements have changed. Our evaluators will review your documents and will request additional documents as necessary.

Yes, but a credential evaluation cannot be upgraded for a different country. In other words, you cannot upgrade a U.S. credential evaluation to a Canadian credential evaluation. Similarly, you cannot have a Canadian evaluation upgraded to a U.S. credential evaluation. In both of these instances, you would need to apply for a new credential evaluation report. However, if you provide our customer service team with your prior reference number, we can transfer to your new application the documents you previously sent in.

Whether you are ordering an upgrade or a new credential evaluation, do not send in your required documents until you have completed your online application and paid for your credential evaluation. We cannot begin to process your documents until your online application is complete and payment has been made in full.
