Hello,
I just bought a used Jaymar toy piano, 2 octaves. About 18 of the 24 keys are dead. I would like to attempt to fix it, but first I have to get inside. How can I do that? it seems to be machined screwed together. I don't have a dremel tool or I would just saw the bolts off....but maybe that's not a good idea anyway.
How do I safely open this up??
Thanks;
Infinity

I do not have a Jaymar, but I do have a Schoenhut. Both companies have merged and are one company.
I am sure you need cut off no bolts. If it is not obvious how to repair your piano, you might call the company in Florida for advice. I have found them very helpful in the past.

OK, great. I got it open by sticing a screwdriver under the nails, prying it open, then pulling up with pliers. it worked! All fixed now.
