Capital Emmy Student Production Awards - Submit by June 25th

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences National Capital Chesapeake Bay (NATAS-NCCB) Chapter sponsors a special award competition for excellence in student production of news and video projects produced and executed by students at a university, college, high school, or technical/vocational school in the NCCB region. Submit your entry! The deadline to enter is Thursday, June 25, 2026. Click here to read the Call for Entries. 

Eligibility

• Entries must have been produced and executed by students between June 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026 under faculty supervision (advisory only)
• Previously submitted entries are NOT eligible for re-submission
• Entries MAY be submitted either by an individual student or the school
• Entries do not need to have been broadcast, cablecast or webcast to be eligible
• Entries must be submitted as they were originally transmitted
• Entries must conform to the length as specified in each of the individual categories 
• Group entries can have a maximum of eight student names
• Follow all rules included in the Student Production Awards Call for Entries

Entry Requirements

• Student Express account - login to your existing account or, for first time submitters, you can create a guest account in the system before starting your entry
• Entry title, short description, production/air date, and length of submission
• Advisor email and phone number
• Name, role, and email of all contributing students
• Video file - tips to prepare video for upload
• Admin fee of $30 per entry
