Greetings,
My name is Mateo Nikolav, and I am the Marketing Coordinator for the Television Academy Foundation, the charitable arm of the Television Academy.
I wanted to reach out and introduce some of our programs. We have two opportunities coming up that would be a great resource for your educational community.
Televerse, our annual television festival, is taking place August 14–16, 2026 in Los Angeles at the JW Marriott, LA Live. This year’s lineup includes an acting workshop with Henry Winkler, anniversary reunions for some of television’s greatest TV shows, and insightful conversations with storytellers like Paris Barclay, among others.
Students and educators who register with an .edu email address get 40% off tickets to get in the room with the visionaries shaping television!
We’re also gearing up for our annual Media Educators Conference this October 21-23, three days of panels and seminars that connect the classroom with the television industry.
This is a great opportunity for educators to engage with industry executives, collaborate with peers from across the nation, and access exclusive insights they can apply to their curriculum.
Educators from minority-serving institutions and community colleges are encouraged to apply for the Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowship, which covers travel, hotel, and registration to attend.
To spread the word, feel free to share the attached flyers and pass along the direct registration links:
