Town Democratic Committee Meeting
Town Democratic Committee meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 6 PM. The next town Democratic committee meeting will be held Wednesday, January 21st at 6 PM in the court room at the Livonia Town Hall. You can also attend remotely via Google Meet. Signup for the event to receive a link. We hope you can join us!
The purpose of this caucus is to nominate candidates for the following office to be voted upon at the General Election on Tuesday, a November 3rd, 2026

2026 Village Election Important Dates
The following dates are important for the 2026 Village Election. For more information on local elections please visit the Livingston County Board of Elections site.
Jan.12-20 - Last date to post and file in office of village clerk AND the Board of Elections, notice of party caucus, depending on date of caucus. (At least 10 days before caucus).
Last day to post notice of party caucus in six (6) public places depending on date of caucus. (At least 10 days before caucus required only if you have published the notice).
Jan. 20-27 - Dates for holding party caucus. Note: Party officials must either (a) publish notice of caucus in newspaper not more than two (2) nor less than one (1) week before the caucus, OR (b) post notice of the caucus in six (6) public places in the village at least ten (10) days before caucus. Notices must also be filed and posted in the offices of the village clerk and county board of elections at least 10 days before the caucus.
Jan. 22– 29 - Dates for filing certificate of party nomination.
Feb. 2 - Last day to file certificate of acceptance or declination of party nomination.
Feb. 3-10 - Dates for filing independent nominating petitions.
Feb. 6 Last day to fill vacancy caused by declination of party nomination. AND Financial Disclosure Statements due.
Feb. 13 - Last day to file certificate of acceptance or declination of an independent nomination.
