finally figured out how to join this ere group!!

hi all,
I bought 2 plots at southwold.
I have got a developer to look at this site for me with the idea of
offloading this land to realise some cash, they got back to me today
saying each plot is worth approx. £150, so £300 for land I bought for
£18k, hmm.
I went to this site and saw its potential before I bought, I got
separate advice on this too and both land consultants said this was a
good site, so how can everything have gone so wrong developing wise?
I have read some of the previous posts about Tenon? who are they? I
got a letter some time ago saying they had been appointed but have had
nothing since. I have phoned 3 times each time the lady there said she
would get someone to call me back but I have never heard a word. I
have the added problem that apparently, title was not registered in my
name so although I 'own' this land, I do not have title to it and
tenon and the solicitors townfield apparently used refuse to talk to
me saying it is nothing to do with them???

so any news would be appreciated as I have lost touch with what is
going on and don't seem to be getting anywhere by contacting the
people who are supposedly dealing with this/

Hi Sue,

Check out Waveney District Council's page and call them to gather some info. Since I have come to learn about the council's interest in developing the site, I'm keen to ring them tomorrow to establish what exactly is happening.

We can keep in touch here and hopefully other plot holders at Southwold may check the group page after so many years of expecting nothing.
