Hi all

I have been searching frantically ever since I found out about the
following on the BBC website about what Townfield did to us all.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/suffolk/6995472.stm

I have read most of the comments on this groups and I think they are
quite good. I just think that if it is possible for us to contact the
Insolvency service and then request them call a meeting of all
investors where we can come to a decision on what to do next. Out of
300, 73 of us cannot take a decision but we can request the Insolvency
service to write to all the investors informing them of this group or
like someone said, form a company

Thanks for the web site. It could be helpful in a 'class action' if
as you say a majority agree. The last I read was that good
young Liz had a committee helping her process this problem.
Hope she reports soon.regards Faren4

Hi All

I have just heard from Mark Hendrick the guy we appointed via the
insolvency office. His extremely brief report doesn't make great
reading and i have asked him to call me tomorrow with a verbal
explanation.

other suggestions including selling the land or collectively
developing on it are being looked into but the problem is that we all
own random sections therefore there are chunks with no obvious owner.
I am looking at how we find out who this owner is and as it is green
belt would therefore be cheap should we decide an option is to
collectively buy the rest of the land. this is merely me thinking
aloud and not an altogether serious proposal as i think throwing more
money at it would be a mistake.

setting up a fund which i suggested a while ago has had a good
response and thank you all for that. i have not taken this further as
the insolvency guy was no win no fee so at the time it was not
necessary.

i will keep you all informed and please trust that i have not given
up, i just hadn;t had any news until today!

best wishes to everyone
liz

Hi Liz,

I just want to say thank you for keeping us all in the loop and that
your hard work is much appreciated. I just hope it all pays off in
some shape or form.

Regards

SK

I would like to know what Peter Crichton, the surveyor, has to say
about the site. He gave such as glowing report when we all bought.

hi all. Just wanted to know, do you think the Farmer if there was a
farmer, knows more about these criminals?

hello mate,
i spoke to the farmers solicitor and he said the farmer has nothing to
do with these people. although he did say that everyone (except us)
knew that planning would not be given and the land is worthless.
