Your 8th Grade Room Parents

Grandparents Day and the Start of Spring Break - April 8th
The school will be sending out details on Grandparents Day, which is on April 8th.  Please note that there is early dismission that day - and then the boys are off for Spring Break!

Help Spread Some Joy to Homebound Seniors
Town school is working with Jewish Family Children's Services (JFCS) to create 500 cards to be placed in Passover bags that will be home delivered to their clients. Using regular paper and any craft materials you have at home, your sons and their siblings can create cards with drawings of anything they want and you can include the words Happy Passover. A drop box will be located in the lobby all next week next to the H.O.T food donation bins. Please bring all cards by Friday April 8th. Thank you Town community!

4/24 Helping Our Town Family Event
Join us in supporting Simply the Basics, an organization that helps individuals and communities meet their basic needs so that they can concentrate on bigger goals. We are hosting a school-wide, in-person event at Town on Sunday, April 24 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM to assemble hygiene kits for distribution. Masks will be optional. There are several ways to participate:

• RSVP here by April 15 to join us on the day to assemble the hygiene kits, write messages to hygiene kit recipients, and/or be a 'day of' volunteer. Adults must be fully vaccinated. Siblings are welcome to join!

• Purchase items from the donation list by April 15 (curbside collection is available the week of April 18).

• Organize refreshments for students and families (sign up forthcoming) 

• Deliver completed kits to the nonprofit receiving partners in San Francisco (sign up forthcoming)
