I think that you might want to read over this front-page article from today's West Volusia Beacon .... USS Liberty Remembrance Day returns to DeLand for 20th year. The Beacon has been so very good to us over the years, but this front-page article takes the cake. I'm also attaching a pdf of the article for printing and distribution. I will be sending it out to as many veterans organization posts in the East Central Florida area as I possibly can and want to encourage you all to do the same and help promote our event. As the article mentions, Ernie Gallo will be our USS Liberty Survivor Guest of Honor this year's event and if people want to talk face to face with one of the survivors of the June 8, 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty, Ernie Gallo will be there to answer any questions.

Also attached is the pdf of an Op-Ed that Ernie Gallo and I co-authored in July of 2017 following the 50th anniversary of the June 8, 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty titled "Where are the wreaths for the known?" which ran in the July 20, 2017 edition of the Daytona Beach News-Journal and that is something that I think folks should also have a look at and share with others.
