I think the progress that has been made is great.The Public meeting
was very informational.One thought that has occured to me about
Westport is there has always been a strong tradition of the
hospitality business ie Hotels Inns etc...,When I was young I worked
at a place called the Stable Inn and people would come and stay for an
extended vacations, some up to a month.It seems to me that with the
right structure in the right location a Condo hotel project could
produce many benefits to the Hamlet.Would you look at the possible
locations that a project like the Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid could
be built?
The other areas that we you might look at is the ridge out Stevenson
road above the RR tracks which has the views that second home buyers
want and to push the expansion to include the Mountain Spring rd Town
Water facilitiy would seem to be a good thing also...
