Salaam alaykum everyone,

As you may know, the Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare") offers Americans an unprecedented opportunity to get affordable, comprehensive, high quality health care coverage. Politics aside, it is very important that we ensure our community is taking advantage of this opportunity - especially those who are currently uninsured. After March 31, people who remain uninsured will be charged a federal fee.

InshaAllah on Feb. 2 from 1:30-4:30pm, the NWICC (Plymouth masjid) will be hosting a public event for people to learn more about their options and even apply for health care coverage on the spot. There will be an enrollment specialist there to answer any questions and help determine whether you qualify for public benefits or subsidies to make your private insurance cheaper.

Please see the attached flyer and spread the word widely!
