Life is short and time is fleeting. Now only about a quarter of your year remains for you to fulfill RI Theme “ENGAGE ROTARY-CHANGE LIVES” with great success.
At this point in the Rotary year after the culmination of the Dist Conference, it is natural for club officers to feel that their year is just about over, to relax and look forward to the new man taking over on 1st July 2014.
But let me remind you that District Conference is not the end of the year, and that you have still more than (2) months left in your year of responsibility and opportunity. This is time enough to complete the projects you have undertaken & club goals set by you in the beginning of your year.
This is no time to relax and take it easy. One-sixth of your year remains representing about 60 days of accomplishment and service. Now is the time to look back and make introspection of your achievements because whatever has been left can easily be attained within the next three months which are still at your disposal.
Usually, the leadership in Rotary is once-in-a-life of opportunity & I think every Rotary leader like you must have put in your best efforts leaving no stone unturned to prove yourself a worthy leader of your club for (13-14)
While congratulating you for your club accomplishments through your Dist. GMLs so far, I will be looking forward to your further accomplishments in all the avenues like TRF contribution, Membership Development etc in the next quarter to be incorporated in my dist publication “Three-o-Four” with great anticipation – the latest issue of my above publication of April 2014 will be emailed at your address for your frank appraisal.
Compare yourself to a runner in a race. If that runner was moving at world-record pace for the first three quarters of his race but suddenly slowed down because the end was in sight, he would not succeed in giving his best performance.
Your success and that of your club will be determined by your sustained best efforts in three months ahead right through the 30th June 2014.
As you come to the end of your great voyage to fulfill RI Theme “ENGAGE ROTARY-CHANGE LIVES” on 30th June 2014, may you achieve the maximum success winning not only Presidential Citation but other District awards also which you fully deserve & I will be looking forward to hear from you with great anticipation !
