We are really sorry, to inform you that your henchmen and yourself do not deserve any kind of respect. You have dilapidated the political patrimony of the Diaspora.
Our advice is quite simple: Disappear from the political arena and let the young members of the Diaspora take over the organization and the management of the Haitian Diaspora.
 
We do not know, what kind of hallucinogenic substance that you have been consuming lately to imagine, that we have requested your intervention on the legislation dealing with Haitian right to vote or on the Dominican Republic government positioning about the status of "Haitian citizen in the so called transit: in their territory”. It will be a waste of time to request your intervention for it will be a futile attempt to morph simply an incompetent bunch into a fine and accomplished intelligentsia.
The quality of your presumed leadership has been consistently mediocre to say the least, a more self serving presence than anything else. We are not bent to insult you but only to lay on the table of public opinion the failure of your leadership.
You did not accomplish anything worth mentioning.
 
Without any self respect, Mr. Bernier Lauredan wrote about: “toro noir and toro blanc” as if the Haitian Diaspora is an animal menagerie. Definitely, there is no shame anymore for being ridicule. This group of the Diaspora is complacent about their invitation in OAS meeting. Well, your inaptitude must have been the underlying talk of the day and a disservice for our country, for up to this day, noting substantial is accomplished, nothing, nada.
 
Mr. Lucas, on the other hand, is a very active player in the political arena. We are more and more surprise of his association with the members of the so called leadership of the Diaspora. We are not privy of his political ambition and we are often not on the same wavelength, but he demonstrates nevertheless, times and times again his leadership skills.
 
It is not infighting. It is just about accountability and transparency: what have you accomplished?
 
Come on, young compatriots raise up to the challenge.
 
We the People of Haiti in the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence  promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish the organization of the Haitian Diaspora.

Most of the 500 world wide Diaspora leaders should have once a month (last Sunday of every month) for the next 12 months a telephone conference to have an agreement on the followings:
 
January 2014: Vote in bloc. The Diaspora should finance, vote, and encourage those that they send money in Haiti to vote for one President, one Senator per Department, and so on for the Deputies, and the Mayors. The same strategy should be implemented in the Diaspora. To gain respect and recognition the Diaspora needs to show teeth. The Diaspora should stop financing the travel to the Diaspora or the campaign of irresponsible politicians or candidats who do not accomplish any things substantial in Haiti.
 
February 2014: Ask the MHAVE to tax at the Airport in Haiti $50 per member of the NGO’s. This $50 dollars is a small amount of money of the NGO’s overheads which stay abroad. This money can be used by the MHAVE to pay the activities (cultural, sportive, social, of support, etc. in the Diaspora) of a MHAVE representative in each city with major concentrations of Haitians. The MHAVE should have a continuous presence in the affairs of the Diaspora.

The key Diaspora leaders should put aside their desire to be chief Captain of little groups and get acquainted to gain the trust with their peers.

I suggest over and over to get acquainted first to develop trust.
 
For the past fifty years we had exclusive Leaders (little chief) who want to impose their plans. We heard Leaders say "let the young manage the Diaspora as a platform" or "let follow the State Department or the France Palace or Cuba". Also, We have "Leaders" spending their efforts disrespect everything positive that Haiti has accomplished?
 
I suggest continuing to have telephone conference to learn to communicate courteously and respectfully and to listen to the experience and ideas of other Leaders.

Very Good Dr. Pean. But who's gonna' coordinate all that? We're having a meeting tonight to raise funds for a professional school in La Saline and to announce the reformation of the Federation of all the ONGs of the NW Dept in Florida.
 
Last year we couldn't get funded because we only asked for $40Million from a foundation giving away left over funds before its new fiscal year, another country received this money because they asked for more money for a single project.
 
It's been hard getting the community together, we need a strong leader who can be well paid to do the job. I tried, but 20 years of experience doing fundraising and grantwriting successfully in my US jobs is not enough when you are doing everything for free.
 
Et puis, il y a pas mal de firmes haitiennes dans les secteurs de la construction de la Diaspora qui on des capacites aussi grandes que celles de St. Domingue. Moi, j'en connais deja trois a Miami.

Gentlemen:
 
     We must not fall into the trap of emphasizing the weaknesses of others, but rather identify the strengths of each individual. These individual strengths will contribute to the accomplishment of the task at hand. We all have strengths and weaknesses; however, it is of the utmost importance to concentrate on strengths and ignore the weaknesses.
 
     Yes, the different groups in the Haitian Diaspora have espoused different approaches to deal with the problems of our country. This is caused by information that were incorrectly passed on to us creating the plethora of beliefs about the problems in Haiti and their causes. Unfortunately, these misinformation lead to chronic dysfunction in the Diaspora resulting in no sustainable progress; the country is still on a free fall.
 
   The plan I see is to bring strong seeds, fertilizers, irrigation systems to plant, care for the country sincerely believing in a sure and sustainable harvest that will change the face of our society. However, most of us fail to understand that the land is full of bad trees with strong roots, tree stumps - chouk-, surface rocks, and subsurface rocks that must be removed before any other activities can be undertaken. We can be sure of failure if these bad trees and their deep roots along with the stumps and rocks are not dealt with as job number one! ( For those of you who did not get it, the above paragraph is a figure of speech)
 
     Contrary to what Carl Henri Jedi stated, we cannot have a more perfect union. In order to have "more" of something, we must first have that something. Unfortunately, we do not have any union let alone a perfect union. Therefore, we must work on forming the "union" based on shared beliefs of the root causes of the problems of Haiti. That is all!
We must forget about obtaining consensus on the details of actions. Each person in charge of an area will make the detailed action decisions the best he can come up with and that will be the decision. You have to forget to have a meeting to discuss how the seeds will arrive to Haiti, by air or by sea but rather, that they get there. The aim is to first remove the barriers to progress.
 
    Some of us may just arrive to that point whereby they will not see the second steps, which would be the actuation of the elaborate plans that are currently on the table.  The land has to be prepared first; the terrain must be conducive to rapid progress. The forces that have prevented the normal growth of the nations since its foundation still exist. The founders of our nation united temporarily to obtain a short victory. They each had their own dreams and had planned how individually they would each eliminate the others. Do not fool yourselves into believing that there were a real union. The union at that time only provided a military union to obtain physical forces that would ultimately be directed toward one another.
 
     Let us create a union whereby the generated forces encompass sustainable forces in the different needed aspects that will ensure continuous development and progress.

                          MAX JEAN : L'HOMME et  SON RÊVE

Max JEAN -L'HOMME, je l'ai connu depuis mon adolescence. Ses jeunes frères Eric et Eyroll ( Poupoute) étaient mes camarades de classe. Au collège Notre Dame de Lourdes de Port-de-Paix, Max fut mon aîné mais nous faisions partie de la chorale et partagions la même cour de récréation ce qui a permis qu'entre nous s'est installé de cordiaux liens d'amitié.  Max avait toujours projeté l'image d'un élève bien dans sa peau. De fait, il était toujours bien classé à chaque distribution de carnet. Je l'ai en ma mémoire. Un homme toujours  souriant racontant sans cesse une histoire à ses amis. Ne dit-on pas que  le fruit se ramasse aux pieds de l'arbre. C'est ainsi qu'à l'exemple de son père qui fut  le plus bel haltérophile du Nord'Ouest, Max avait pratiqué le " body building" et  modela harmonieusement ses muscles. Aussi fut-il un homme bien bâti à l'aspect physique agréable à voir. À la fin de ses études classiques ( bac I- rétho) si ma mémoire reste fidèle, il a du se rendre à Port-au-Prince pour son ( bac2-philo) car à cette époque il n'y avait pas encore de classe de philosophie à Port-de-Paix. Depuis, j'avais perdu sa trace. Tout ce que je savais c'est qu'il vivait au Canada. Une fois, au hasard d'une conversation, Jean Élie TELFORT ( CUBANO), m'a parlé de lui en des termes très élogieux. Moy, m'avait-il dit: tu connais Max, toujours très élégant, une pipe en or attaché à son tour de cou, il est le chouchou des jolies québécoises. À part ce bref entretien avec CUBANO à son sujet, aucune autre nouvelle ne m'est parvenue. Puis un beau matin, c'était la fête. À DUVAL HOUSING, à Port-au-Prince, on m'a demandé d'aller voir l'administrateur. Qui fut l'administrateur: Max JEAN en chair et en os. Ti Maurice, c'est ainsi qu'il m'appelait, SAK PASÉ TI FRÈ? On s'est jeté l'un dans les bras de l'autre. Comme pour me  faire reconnaître, j'ai entonné le NOTRE DAME TOUJOURS EN AVANT du père Roger SCHMITH de regrettée mémoire et on s'est mis à chanter ensemble. Ma journée est faite. Et depuis,  c'était une routine. Je me rendais  presque chaque jour Chez DUVAL pour rencontrer  Max et parler de la  politique du pays qui le tenait à cœur. Quand venait le moment pour moi de lui dire que  j'allais laisser Haïti pour m' installer au Canada, il était visiblement renversé et faisait tout pour me porter à changer d'idée. Je suis parti. La vie a voulu qu'en dépit de la distance nous nous rencontrions à nouveau grâce aux progrès de la science. FACEBOOK nous ramène le monde à nos pieds. Ainsi donc,  les relations ont été reprises à la faveur  de ce grand moyen de communication. Je lui ai envoyé un message. Dans les minutes qui suivaient, j'ai eu sa réponse par laquelle il exprimait son bonheur de pouvoir rompre le long silence et de correspondre avec moi. Davantage, il m'a envoyé son numéro de téléphone. C'étaient toujours de longues discussions avec Max qui se voulait objectif et conjoncturel. Pour avoir un avis sûr et impartial sur un point, je l' appelais ou bien je m'adressais à notre ami Hébert DOCTEUR. Max ne finit jamais de me parler sans me rappeler son rêve pour le Nord'Ouest. 

SON RÊVE :

                         Son rêve était grandiose.Je lui disais souvent, mon cher, tu demandes trop. Comme un homme qui savait qu'il allait partir, il me répond à chaque fois: Je dois leur laisser tout ce qu'ils doivent faire. L'exécution peut être partielle. C'est curieux, il ne m'a jamais, au grand jamais, parlé de son état de santé. La seule chose, c'est qu'il faisait souvent allusion à  son extrême fatigue due au fait qu'il était obligé de tout faire, de participer à tout car la main d'œuvre avec laquelle il travaillait  n'était  pas qualifiée et peu digne de confiance dans l'exécution des tâches.

Mais parler du grand rêve de Max c'est aller sur sentier battu! Il l'a délivré dans sa pétition qui est une véritable feuille de route qui indique tout ce qui doit être fait pour le Nord'Ouest. Il nous a légué, il nous a donné comme mission d'exécuter et de faire exécuter tout ce qu'il aimerait voir de son vivant. Il rêvait de voir la belle petite ville de Port-de-Paix retrouver son visage d'antan. Assurément il souhaiterait que sa ville trouve en quelqu'un l' élégant Roland SAINT-CHARLES  vêtu de son costume vert olive agrémenté d'une cravate noire qui imposait respect. Avec Saint-CHARLES, comme officir sanitaire d'alors, non seulement les égouts étaient régulièrement drainés, curées,  mais aseptisés. Max s'est certainement souvenu de l'anecdote du Dr Hector et de son jeune ami  enseignant. On rapporte qu'un dimanche, revenant de l'église, le Dr Saint-Lucien Hector qui aimait converser avec ce jeune professionnel connu pour  son beau parler s'est arrêté devant la bâtisse où à l'étage le jeune enseignant avait loué une chambre.  Ce matin là,  lui et son excellent interlocuteur étaient dans une instructive et intéressante conversation quand tout à coup le professeur de lycée qui dégustait une banane ( figue mûre) alors qu'il entretenait le médecin, s'est oublié jusqu'à lancer sur la rue la pelure du fruit. Furieux, scandalisé même par ce geste, il ordonna  le contrevenant  de descendre immédiatement du balcon et de venir ramasser en urgence le déchet, sous peine de se voir arrêter. À cette époque, le directeur médical était responsable de l'hygiène publique. Dans le temps il y avait tout cela. En ce temps-là il y avait encore des femmes et des hommes dans le pays. Grâce à ces femmes et à ces hommes de ce genre nos villes étaient dans un constant état de propreté qui les rendait  belles et agréables. Port-de-Paix était belle. Max avait rêvé de ce pays d'antan, de ce Nord'Ouest où régnait le respect, l'honnêteté, ce Nord'Ouest où chacun vivait selon ses moyens. Il espérait que toutes ces belles vertus renaissent, qu'un développement socio-économique vienne libérer nos sœurs et nos frères des liens de la pauvreté, de l'ignorance et de l'exclusion. Que  nos braves et pauvres paysans ne se considèrent plus comme tout simplement des nés  pour un petit pain. Les choses doivent changer. Nous  devons le fructifier, le fortifier et le réaliser.

Naturellement, nous ne sommes pas tous des Jean L THEAGENE qui de sa poche a gâté de façon incroyable sa ville natale. Tellement incroyable que nous avons du nous adresser directement à lui pour vérifier ce qui se dit dans le milieu port-de-paisien. En réponse, il nous a fait parvenir ce qui suit pour corroborer les dires des gens de Port-de-Paix qui ne sont pas prêts à oublier ces gestes combien singuliers et venant rarement de l'haïtien connu pour son égoïsme et son avarice. 


Mon cher Maurice,

         Pour donner suite à ton courriel par lequel tu me demandes de te donner des précisions sur le fait que j'aurais dépensé au delà de $US 200.000 ( deux cent mille dollars américains) aux fins de rendre plus agréable et plus attrayante la vie  à Port-de-paix, je m'empresse de te communiquer des informations qui pourront certainement satisfaire ton attente.  Je comprends, cher ami,  que tu aies  de la difficulté à croire  ce que plusieurs personnes considèrent comme de la pure folie. Folie ou pas,  la vérité reste ce qu'elle est : Pure, sans un brin d'exagération, telle qu'elle est dite, in extenso, ci-dessous.


 Tout d'abord, laisse moi m'excuser du retard que j'ai mis pour te faire parvenir ces lignes. Un matin suisse je lisais "La Tribune de Genève" et suis tombé sur un article où il est dit que toute ville sans horloge est une ville muette. Tout de suite, j'ai pensé à mon patelin qui, depuis le cyclone HAZEL, avait perdu sa langue . Je me suis empressé d' acheter trois horloges qui m'ont coûtées la faramineuse somme de 105mille dollars américains que j'ai offertes à la Cathédrale Immaculée Conception de Port-de-Paix qui elle-même était 
vétuste. Plaisir immense de pouvoir restaurer ce lieu saint qui a reçu les premiers vagissements de ma foi chrétienne. Après restauration des murs, du toit, du paquet  fait de  terrazo, toujours à mes frais, j'ai fait venir de Genève des techniciens pour la mise en marche desdites horloges. Port-de-Paix peut s'enorgueillir d'avoir été la première de toute la Caraïbe à abriter dans son sein de telles marques du temps. A la nouvelle que les badauds ont  emporté tous les livres de la Bibliothèque Municipale, j'ai offert un chèque de vingt mille dollars US pour l'acquisition de nouveaux ouvrages. Les instruments de la Fanfare L'UNION, don de feu Florentin MAURRASSE à la ville  depuis plus d'un siècle étant tombés en désuétude, n'étaient plus aptes à animer les concerts qui nous réunissaient sur la place Capois au temps de notre plus tendre jeunesse. Pour résoudre le problème, j'ai dû payer un billet d'avion , des frais de séjour au maestro Racine Vassor (P-au-P- Miami ) à qui j'avais confié un chèque de cinquante mille dollars américains à tirer sur mon compte à  Barnett Bank et destinés à  acheter  64 instruments de musique. Quand feux Rodrigue Alcindor et Morin Vixamar m'ont fait part de leurs appréhensions quant à l'avenir du football, j'ai gratifié la ligue de deux jeux d'équipements  et de vingt quatre paires de chaussures. Mon ambition,  c'était d'asphalter les rues de ma ville. Pour y arriver il fallait d'abord entreprendre  le drainage que j'avais commencé sur une longueur de 1 Km du Carrefour des Trois Rivières au Pont Tida des deux côtés de la route. M Jeannot,  ingénieur départemental de l'époque, m'avait laissé entendre qu' avec trois cent mille dollars on réussirait le pari. Au moment de lui donner le feu vert, je lui ai remis une première tranche de 60 mille dollars US jusqu'au jour où M. Duvalier du haut du balcon de feue madame Nézilia Chéry plutôt  connue sous le nom de Zia laissa entendre à la population de ne pas s'occuper de ceux qui parlent d'asphaltage de la ville et qu'il est dans son programme d'offrir au département la route Carrefour Joffre - CAP HAïtien. J'ai dû faire arrêter les travaux pour m'éviter un séjour dans cet hotel de Fort Dimanche d'où on en sort rarement vivant. Mon ami Jean Elie TELFORT ( CUBANO) caressait le rêve d'emmener son orchestre SKAH SHAH dans sa ville natale, une idée qui hantait ses jours et ses nuits. Dépourvu de moyens financiers, il m'en a fait part. Ne pouvant rien refuser à Cuban j'ai acquiescé. Et ce plaisir fait à un ami m'a coûté la bagatelle somme de vingt cinq mille dollars. Septentrional était le chouchou du Nord-Ouest, mais à ses soirées dansantes Monsieur tout le monde ne pouvait y accéder. C'était réservé aux messieurs de la ville, aux messieurs comme il faut. Parce que je crois que Monsieur tout le monde a droit, lui aussi, à un moment de détente, j'ai monnayé l'orchestre pour des heures de Carnaval en ville. Le Courrier étant un bien commun je refuse d'en parler,  je te laisse le soin de mettre ta touche. J'allais oublier la restauration du SANATORIUM. Et voilà, ti Cousin, un bilan partiel de mes œuvres. Il n'y a pas que cela. Je me réserve de me taire  sur mes largesses et mes nombreuses sollicitudes envers des amis. J'ai beaucoup investi dans l'humain, mais crois-moi, je ne regrette rien..Il est des services si grands qu'on ne peut les rendre que par l'ingratitude d'autant que l'ingratitude est une vertu nègre.

Il paraît  que Max JEAN, ex-condisciple de classe de Jean L.THEAGENE était de la même école. Tous deux, semble-il, croyaient profondément dans le donner et le recevoir et avaient le sens du partage. Le nom du Dr Laurent PIERRE-PHILIPPE qui a pris en main le suivi des démarches de Max de même que celui de l'ingénieur Ulrick MAURISSEAU  doivent être inscrit sur le tableau d'honneur où doivent figurer tous ceux qui luttent inlassablement pour le devenir du Nord'Ouest abandonné, oublié. Laurent et Ulrick  on crée le NORD OUEST RÉUNI qui depuis des années réunit en grande fraternité les sœurs et frères du Nord'Ouest ainsi que leurs amis venus de toutes parts.

Le NORD-OUEST RÉUNI 2014,  je le souhaite ardemment, doit être dédié à la mémoire du regretté Max JEAN. Les filles et les fils du Nord 'Ouest doivent à l'occasion se réunir comme un seul homme pour rendre un hommage mérité à ce vaillant soldat qui a caressé un rêve qu'il n'a pas eu le temps de concrétiser.  À nous de poursuivre la marche ascensionnelle qui devra conduire notre coin de terre vers un lendemain meilleur. La journée MAX JEAN 2014 doit être fêtée grandiosement. Les artistes du Nord'Ouest seront, je l'espère, présents à ce rendez-vous durant lequel les frères et sœurs du défunt pourront signer le livre : MAX JEAN: L'HOMME et SON RÊVE. Les amis pourront dès à présent faire parvenir leur texte, pas trop long, au Dr Laurent PIERRE-PHILIPPE ou aux soins de l'ingénieur MAURISSEAU. Un documentaire à la dimension de l'homme sera agrémenté de photos pouvant retracer la vie du décédé. Un tirage sera organisé également en la circonstance au bénéfice du Nord'Ouest.

We do not prone a perfect union. We would like to see people with a common goal and with the same ability , reunited to tackle the problems at hand.

Union is a lure. Haitian cannot be united. It is the goal of the Refoundation pointed out by the President Clinton.

The propensity to use violence has to be curbed first.

It is at the origin of corruption: forced the hands to give, in order for the recipient to do his job.

It is at the origin of the unfortunate treatment of women.

It is at the origin of Lavalasse, Dechoukage, deboulonnin, etc.

It is at the origin of the atrocities committed by the uniformed forces that were supposed to protect us.

     We must not fall into the trap of emphasizing the weaknesses of others, but rather identify the strengths of each individual. These individual strengths will contribute to the accomplishment of the task at hand. We all have strengths and weaknesses; however, it is of the utmost importance to concentrate on strengths and ignore the weaknesses.
 
     Yes, the different groups in the Haitian Diaspora have espoused different approaches to deal with the problems of our country. This is caused by information that were incorrectly passed on to us creating the plethora of beliefs about the problems in Haiti and their causes. Unfortunately, these misinformation lead to chronic dysfunction in the Diaspora resulting in no sustainable progress; the country is still on a free fall.
 
   The plan I see is to bring strong seeds, fertilizers, irrigation systems to plant, care for the country sincerely believing in a sure and sustainable harvest that will change the face of our society. However, most of us fail to understand that the land is full of bad trees with strong roots, tree stumps - chouk-, surface rocks, and subsurface rocks that must be removed before any other activities can be undertaken. We can be sure of failure if these bad trees and their deep roots along with the stumps and rocks are not dealt with as job number one! ( For those of you who did not get it, the above paragraph is a figure of speech)
 
     Contrary to what Carl Henri Jedi stated, we cannot have a more perfect union. In order to have "more" of something, we must first have that something. Unfortunately, we do not have any union let alone a perfect union. Therefore, we must work on forming the "union" based on shared beliefs of the root causes of the problems of Haiti. That is all!
We must forget about obtaining consensus on the details of actions. Each person in charge of an area will make the detailed action decisions the best he can come up with and that will be the decision. You have to forget to have a meeting to discuss how the seeds will arrive to Haiti, by air or by sea but rather, that they get there. The aim is to first remove the barriers to progress.
 
    Some of us may just arrive to that point whereby they will not see the second steps, which would be the actuation of the elaborate plans that are currently on the table.  The land has to be prepared first; the terrain must be conducive to rapid progress. The forces that have prevented the normal growth of the nations since its foundation still exist. The founders of our nation united temporarily to obtain a short victory. They each had their own dreams and had planned how individually they would each eliminate the others. Do not fool yourselves into believing that there were a real union. The union at that time only provided a military union to obtain physical forces that would ultimately be directed toward one another.
 
     Let us create a union whereby the generated forces encompass sustainable forces in the different needed aspects that will ensure continuous development and progress.

  4. La volonté des groupes dominantes de l’international à maintenir le statusquo et imposer leurs intérêts au détriment de ceux du peuple haitien. La lutte pour la liberté, la dignité, et le respect s’accompagne de destructions de ressources économiques.
  5. Les conditions commerciales sont défavorables: les prix des productions d’importations (produits manufacturs) augmentent rapidement alors que les prix d’exportations d’Haiti faiblement.
  6. Blocage externes: Haiti dépendent de quelques produits agricoles l’exportation : café, cacao, etc. qui rendent Haiti très vulnerables aux fluctuations des cours du marché international. Cette structure a toujours laisse Haiti sans ressources pour construire les routes, ponts, hopitaux, ecoles, et les autres infrastructures.
  7. Les groupes dominants socio-économiques urbains (soutien au pouvoir), contrôlent l’économie. Les gouvernements sont corrompus par les groupes économiques dirigeants. Les leaders s’enrichissent à titre personnel.
  8. Les groupes dirigeantes demandent de l’aide à l’internatioanl pour faire face à des crises écononimiques aïgues et accentués. L’aide est détournée
  9. Les groupes dominantes urbains rejetent systematiquement la culture paysanne au lieu de combiner la modernité avec la culture de l’arrière pays. Il ne faut pas attendre que les fermiers haitiens renoncent a leurs pratiques qui déroulent de traditions anciennes. Les groupes dominants ignorent les principes économiques fondamentaux; utilisation de ressouces économiques en quantité abondante en Haiti et les coûts relatifs de technologie à forte utilization de main d’ouevre. L’arrière pays est considérée inférieure et arriérés.
  10. L’état, les leaders, les groupes dominants dans l’économie ont été toujours les obstacles majeurs au développement d’Haiti. Le principal obstacle au futur développement d’Haiti a toujours été de nature politique.
  1. La montée des gouvernements populists anti-capitalists. Puisque les capitalists sont mauvais et exploiteurs, il y a révulsions contre le capitalistes: économie du marché, respect de la propriete privée, libre échange, démocratie, entreprise privée. Il faut chasser les entrepreneurs privés de l’agriculture, de l’industrie, et du commerce. L’état s’est donc doté d’importants pouvoirs économiques qui sont concentrés entre les mains d’un seul individu: Le Président et pas de contrepouvoir. L’état est devenu un obstacle au développement: le pillage des richesses publiques à des fins privées. Pour faire face à cette situation tragique, l’élite professionnelle demande: la bonne gestion, la responsabilité, la transparence, et un renaissance politique. Les citoyens considèrent l’état comme des ennemis à fuir et à combattre.
  2. Des leaders défectueux qui ne comprennent le fonctionnement d’une économie: Aucun leader parle de la nécessité de déveloopper le commerce intérieur
  3. Les gouvernements veulent encourager l’investissement exterieur et pas l’investissement national. Le resultat : Un niveau d’investissement interne faible et d’épargne insuffisante
  4. La faiblesse de l’État et des institutions empêchent le support que les secteurs de l’économie ont besoin pour progresser.

I have been following the behavior and attitude of both Dr Pean and this other person. The truth is no one knows about the strengths and weaknesses of either concerned compatriot. The first one is optimist, apparently committed .He is trying very hard to create at best   a structure  that has  already swallow a lot  of energy, dedication , imagination  and good will  of Haitians  who believe they can change something  in Haiti from outside.
The other person is a well known provocateur, cynic, alienated, indifferent, fairly unpatriotic, effectively Haitianophobe, religiously fundamentalist, culturally undefined and naturally “evil”. There is no recollection he ever tries anything else beside of jeopardizing Haitian interests, diminishing national values, destroying efforts of reaching consensus, mining cultural bridges and remembering us why we should never trust  the lineage of those who assassinate Emperor Dessalines. For these people, Dessalines is still a tyrant known only by coupé tet boulé kay .

Using your figure of speech, these people are the real chouk, they are bayahon and pengwen invading our land and make it hard for us to plant with ochesion and to harvest peace and  equality.
January 1, 1804 was  a tangible   result  of  koupe tet  boulé kay , today January 1, 2014, the word is  coupé bahayon  of indifference, boulé pengwren of ignorance  and raché  chouk  of division. it’s a very slow process  that require a lot of dedication , a lot of coordination, a lot of planning .it’s a team work where togetherness is learned  and patriotism is created .We have the responsibility to work for a new deal , a fair one .it’s our moment to take the initiative and be in charge of what is going in our land.
  For  more than 200 years , we tolerate these bayahon even though  they  reduce  our space for  farming .They invade our “bitation” , destroy our  way of life , forcing us to become slave  in neighboring countries  .Yet they are not satisfy with the pain , nightmare  their spine are responsible for . For 10 years now, they call other Pikan-kwan-nan of different varieties for reinforcement.They truly believe they can  confuse us and dissuade us in our operation  of “raché chouk”. A lot of us have been discouraged and give up. But we know this is a process that requires patience and creativity. We have to learn how to use  “manchet “ of good education, “ kouline”  of democracy, “pikwa”  of thinking together, and the fire of acting together.

At some point we have to choose and we must do what any man has to do when his land is violated, invaded, disgraced   by intrusive elements. Bayahon and pengwen   can’t change their nature; they are born with spine and made to hurt. Can someone tell me about the benefit of 10 years of bayahon and pikan-kwan-nan presence?  Our vocation is to uproot them, free our land, work peacefully in our “habitation “and live with dignity.  We have no other choice. We will not continue to live with indignity among  bayahon , Pengwen and pikan-kwan-nan . We will not make it easy for them.

One of the mission and vocation of the Diaspora is to be part of this 200 years struggle of raché chouk. We can’t destroy Bayahon, pengwen and Pikan-kwan-nan without replace them  with the palm of peace and democracy. We see how hard it is  the task and how complicated the operations become .The diaspora has the means and the potential to help in the redesign of the landscape. It can work in the invention  of  the pesticide against Bayahon   and  pikan-kwan-nan.
But before responding to the  mission and vocation that every Haitian patriot must participate,  the Diaspora organization has a tridimensional challenge  it must respond to:

a)The first challenge is this:  It can’t avoid the same kind of contradictions we are facing inside Haiti. It is an extension  of Haitian society  that bear the weight of a decrepit State .It becomes a life support for a failed  State  by maintaining an artificial middle class which consumption power depends  of benevolence , charity and solidarity. It becomes a kind of collateral for an elastic hope while dreaming about a return without realizing it is living a long nightmare. Even though the prospect of togetherness is more realistic in Diaspora because the economic challenge is softer, the equality barrier is lower in some region; the cultural alienation is not challenged by new way of thinking or ideas.  Therefore it’s impossible to mobilize the necessary resources to counterweight the consortium of interests that control the political game.
b) The second one is:  it doesn’t want  to transcend the  intellective  barriers such as the binomial approaches : rich vs poor, rural vs urban, educated vs uneducated, Negros vs  mulattoes or Dessalines vs  Petion that make us so lazy to think deeper  , to innovate ,  to create  new alternatives  and to  learn how  to assess   and take  risks.Instead ,  We choose to be complacent and grade  our situation  by comparing ourselves with those we are supporting  in Haiti.By becoming sponsors  of an artificial segment Of Haitian middle class  ,we compromise  our prospect of success  by not challenging  the kind of interest that  maintain the productive  engine out of service in Haiti. We are keeping in life support a superficial state that fails his citizen while we are losing point in the “accumulation “billboard. Instead of looking for new ways to respond   to the needs of national cohesion that may inspire an Haitian new deal, there is the tendency of prioritize personal agenda starting with self-promotion.
c) There is no clear path to obtain a legitimate structure without increasing division. There are too many hidden agenda and confused lecture about what must be done. The way we see it is this: It’s not about old guard vs new blood; it’s not a question corrupt leaders  because there is no real leadership; It can’t be about “mediocre”vs competent because there is no parameter  for measurement ,it’s about finding  legitimacy by building structure  for concerned Haitian living aboard  to choose  their representatives. In that case, Dr Pean has to state clearly how he becomes diaspora coordinator and for what?
But this is not an excuse for the “merchant of Venice” to insult someone who is trying to do something for his country. We must respect those who are trying to do something independently of the agenda. He is not easy and it will never be.Trying to set a coordination or any structure of leadership i is encouraging, we must assist those who are trying.The reason is : We can’t humiliate ourselves in letting OEA impose to us their structure, their vision  of Haiti.
In the last few weeks,  we see an increase in recrimination against some organizations .There was on insinuation that retains my attention  regarding some rift  between Dr Lauredan and Judge Lionel Jn Baptiste. I’m absolutely confident they can work out any tensions or differences they may have.

But I can’t understand this violent attack against Dr Pean  by the “merchant  of venice”. What he is up to and why now? The same merchant who has been selling us cheap grandiloquence, idiot comparisons imported from Wikipedia   is also the one accusing others of mediocrity and poor leadership!
The question is: What exactly the Haitian Diaspora, in his diverse interests and the multiple agendas of his auto proclaimed leadership, can achieve without some kind of legitimacy or some apparent cohesion?
 When there is no fix parameter and no real content any method of measurement is speculative. Accusing someone of “mismanagement of resources”, absence of “transparence”, mediocre in term of leadership is pure malfeasance. There are no such resources because the “leaders” are using their personal contacts and creativity for fund raising. Each leader is dedicated in building his network of friends and allied and each of them is reluctant in losing  control by linking it to a larger network. The is the impression they are afraid of anonymity.

No one can collect  millions or six figures  in fund raising because our communities are poor. Rich Haitians don’t participate in fund raising unless they are interested in something. The   “tchotcho” collected is used,most of the time  for lobbying Haitian politicians by paying their vacations in return to  be in their short list in case they seize power or get elected to the presidency. These leaders  are more obsessed and concerned  in building their  network in Haiti than finding a way to build strong, dynamic and solvent communities. 
Viewing it that way , there  is not a single good reason why the “leaders” need to be transparent because they are self made leader and second they will reveal too much information to their competitor  .Who want to have a competitor in front of your  liquor store?
Finally, there is this reference as if Dr Pean is under the influence of some “hallucinogenic substance”.  This statement comes from the person comparing Dessalines and Mandela without any reserve for historical context and personal situation and condition.
The same person who is lamenting about absence of “Union” and, in his moment of “low/high” is imagining Haiti as a federation like USA with  an “imperfect union”. He happily transposes a sentence from the American constitution to   our situation before signing his trade mark  “ mirror” for  copy right.Less than 24 hours, he  wake up  from the effect  of “ sa n kon-nen an”  to realize  this: “Union is a lure”. Because of it we have La vallée and Lavalas.

 The next question is this: who in the forums have been showing with consistency signs of flagrant contradictions that may require the administrators to call police dogs to detect users of "hallucinogenic substance”?

( For those of you who did not get it, the above paragraph is a figure of speech)
 
     Contrary to what Carl Henri Jedi stated, we cannot have a more perfect union. In order to have "more" of something, we must first have that something. Unfortunately, we do not have any union let alone a perfect union. Therefore, we must work on forming the "union" based on shared beliefs of the root causes of the problems of Haiti. That is all!
We must forget about obtaining consensus on the details of actions. Each person in charge of an area will make the detailed action decisions the best he can come up with and that will be the decision. You have to forget to have a meeting to discuss how the seeds will arrive to Haiti, by air or by sea but rather, that they get there. The aim is to first remove the barriers to progress.
 
    Some of us may just arrive to that point whereby they will not see the second steps, which would be the actuation of the elaborate plans that are currently on the table.  The land has to be prepared first; the terrain must be conducive to rapid progress. The forces that have prevented the normal growth of the nations since its foundation still exist. The founders of our nation united temporarily to obtain a short victory. They each had their own dreams and had planned how individually they would each eliminate the others. Do not fool yourselves into believing that there were a real union. The union at that time only provided a military union to obtain physical forces that would ultimately be directed toward one another.
 
     Let us create a union whereby the generated forces encompass sustainable forces in the different needed aspects that will ensure continuous development and progress.

Dr Pean would like Haitian professionals to manage infrastructure funds and execute the infrastructure projects. In doing so, manage funds and executing infrastructure projects, they will gain experience! This is my understanding; I believe that he incorrectly expressed his thoughts.
Now, before we go about all these plans and projects, we must first create a nation. A solid base must be correctly created to build the nation. The constant problems of Haiti originate from the fact that there is no base; everything that is built falls apart in a short time period confirming either an inadequate base or no base. Let us not fool ourselves; there was no nation created. A government was created for control, nothing else. That is why everybody wants control in-as-much as there is no established base governing the activities of the ones in control except some written documents generated from copying previously existing documents. The governed did not participate in the decisions made to control them and there were no agreement on the form of governing. Emperor for life, king for life and no plans for the future. Now we are trying to force a new system on the people without their true participation. What do you expect?

He went about to loot “Mein Kampf " the infamous bible of Hitler, Nazi Germany. All the themes approached by Mr. Pompilus are the result of intensive plagiarism.


Re: Jews were the cause of the troubles in Germany and now we are the cause of the troubles faced by our Haiti and we deserve the “Rache manioc ", a very ruthless expression, for inciting the mob to destroy the assets of someone who has been targeted to be murdered. We are familiar with this scenario, since our political Independence.

Re: the massacre of white civilians in Haiti to steal their properties. No wonder the entire group, craves for the departure of the MINUSTAH, the UN stabilization forces in Haiti to launch their vile tasks.
" Bayo sa yo mérité" or "Give them what they deserve”. We know the recent history of horrors perpetrated against Haitians by Lavalas under the guidance of President Aristide.


The Handlers of Mr. Pompilus have perceived the considerable political threat of an effective and efficient Diaspora. They tremble in their little black panties. LOL. A well organized Diaspora will become a formidable force and  will deny Lavalas the possibility from seizing the power to govern the country.
Mr. Pompilus will do anything to keep the status quo in the Haitian Diaspora, disorganized, weak and marred with fief in fighting. It brings us to wonder, if Mr. Péan and company are  not  agents of Lavalas, fifth column within the bosom of Mr. Stanley Lucas?

On the eve of the New Year , the bitterness of Mr. Pompilus is obvious and is exploding in rash behavioral stigmata. We are pleased to notice, that we hit a raw nerve. He tried to pass his plagiarism as a thoughtful process. Voila Mr. Willy Pompilus, un minable Lavalassien de troisième rang qui comme la grenouille veut se faire aussi gros que le bœuf.


Il pille « Mein Kampf », l’infâme bible d’Hitler, de l’Allemagne Nazi. Tous les thèmes abordés par Mr. Pompilus sont le résultat d’un plagiat intensif.


Ré: Les Juifs furent la cause des déboires de l’Allemagne et nous voila aujourd’hui la cause des déboires de notre pays et nous méritons le sort du « raché manioc », un vocable des plus sauvages, exprimant le désir de tuer et de piller les avoirs de l’autre. Nous ne sommes point surpris par cette coutume odieuse depuis l’Indépendance politique du pays, ou les blancs furent massacrés pour pouvoir s’emparer de leurs avoirs. Il est certain que ce monsieur et ses acolytes veulent le départ de la MINUSTAH, le corps de stabilisation crée par l’ONU, pour se livrer à leurs viles besognes.


« Bayo sa yo mérité », nous rappelons bien de l’histoire récente des affres perpétrés contre les Haïtiens par les Lavalassiens.


Les meneurs (Handlers) de Mr. Pompilus voient la menace d’une Diaspora effective et efficiente. Ils tremblent dans leurs petites culottes noires. LOL. Une Diaspora organisée déniera la possibilité de saisir le pouvoir aux Lavalassiens. Ils feront tout pour garder le statu quo dans la Diaspora, désorganisée, faible et empêchée par des batailles intestines de fief. Ce qui nous amène à suggérer le scénario selon lequel, Mr. Péan et ses acolytes forment une cinquième colonne au sein de Mr. Stanley Lucas ?


A la veille du nouvel an, l’amertume de Mr. Pompilus est évidente. Nous sommes heureux d’avoir mis à blanc un nerf vif des Lavalassiens. Et Mr. Pompilus explose dans une éruption de stigmates du comportement. Dans un premier temps, il nous présent son plagiat. Attendez-vous au deuxième temps, durant lequel il nous offrira une litanie de propos injurieux qui le caractérisent et une incitation à la violence pour régler les problèmes de la nation.


Il n’a rien compris. Cela fait pitié de voir qu’il y a tout un nid de guêpes créoles dans nos forums, qui ne sèment que la mort, la haine, la dissension et le crime politique.


En un mot des malades mentaux qui ne se connaissent pas.
