A policy statement good for the United States and good for Haiti.

Jean H Charles,

In my book For the Homeland for the nation I have postured that the Haitian vote is crucial to win the national election. This postulation is correct if the margin is thin between the two presidential candidates. This theory has proved correct in the election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The positive Haitian vote in Florida was determinant in getting Donald Trump go over the board in winning the election.

In the second Trump election the negative vote of the Haitian community was not enough to overcome the wide margin that Trump commanded over Kamala Harris.

Anyway, the reason why the Haitian vote must be courted is that vote is an emotional one, it is not a logical one. It is like the Hassidic vote, laser focus guided by the leading pigeon that turns and turns following the leading pigeon in formation.

The Haitian citizen has a natural Republican inclination, religious, opposed to abortion and homosexual practice, hard worker, reluctant to go on welfare, homeowner yet he is voting in majority Democrat by emotion.

Haiti has urgency

1)   deliver the country from the gangs culture,

2)   Let Haiti flourishes with a government that rest on agriculture not textile as Bill Clinton has proposed and enforced until today. Haiti with 85% of the population involved in agriculture like Ukraine is the breadbasket of the world. It was in the past (during 400 years) it can become the breadbasket again with its organic produce leaving Haiti every night for the markets of the world creating wealth for each Haitian citizen.

.Using that same emotion, the Republican Party can win the Haitian vote by declaring that as long as President Trump will remain in power and, as long as Marco Rubio or JD Vance, after President Trump, is the President of the United States, (12 years) the Haitians on TPS can remain in the country. We are talking about the law abiding not those who are in jails or commit crimes.

Denying the renewal of the TPS to Haitians is not in the advantage of the United States, imagine 100.000 Haitian families from the 300.000 Haitians  who enjoyed the status provided by TPS would chose to sell their homes before departure, that massive sale would contribute in devaluating the housing stock of the United States

The Haitian nation is suffering 70 years of malice of the Democratic Party. Duvalier has survived for 30 years because of the symbiotic relations with the Black Caucus. Congressman Major Owens used to lament to me that several members of the Black Caucus used to spend their week end in Haiti in a Jeffrey Epstein debauchery lifestyle before the time.

The other forty years (40) were consumed by the malice of the couple Bill and Hillary Clinton who like Corneille said about  Cardinal Richelieu he did too much harm to say good things about him he did too much good to talk bad about him. They sponsored the governments of Aristide and Martelly and their acolytes that not only introduce the gang’s culture into the country but institutionalize embezzlement, corruption, and incompetence as a way of government.

Bill Clinton killed the rice culture in Haiti by invading the country with the Arkansas Rice destroying the local production. While 85% of the Haitian population is involved in agriculture, in a meeting dedicated to return Aristide to Haiti he ordered that the vocation of the nation will be directed towards low wage textile industry while Mexico will be agricultural. That policy is still in vigor today.

It is time now that the Republican Party mobilize to deliver Haiti from this long 70 years of mismanagement. Otherwise the nation will spend another 40 years of malice if it waited on the Democratic Party to usher democracy into that iconic country that delivers the world from the scrooge of slavery.
