The Haitian government has become an industry where people get rich overnight. The total asset of the President must be known and as well as the asset of all elected officials and the members of the government.   1) Relocating the survivors throughout the country in building huge high rise apartment project (How are you going to do it? In doing so, we will double the number of students attending schools.  Not enough teachers:  Every single citizen before going to university shall spend 1 year of service, you will be trained. In the next 10 years, no one can run for office without doing his/her voluntary service and no one can hold a post in the government either.  ( for those who are living in the Diaspora and under 25 as of today, you can do your voluntary service in spending 4 summer doing work in Haiti; it will be waived if you are currently in graduate school) 4.1) providing free lunch and snack to all schools in the country (small schools that do not have kitchen, food will be delivered) 5) Buy emergency rise and corn from Indonesia, South Korea and Vietnam, that should be sold according to the Haitian income. Bring experts from South Korea and Vietnam to revolutionize the rice and the corn in Haiti. The state of Haiti should be able to produce rice and corn in the next 18 months. And Haiti shall be able to start exporting rice in the next 24 months.  6) Transportation: finance boat taxi with high speed boat; linking Petionville to Jacmel to an underground tunnel.  A tunnel under Morn Pilboro. Rest Area equipped with toilet along all major roads. Put toilet in every single public park in the nation (if we are talking about bringing tourists to the country and we do not have these basic infrastructure, we are joking) doing #1 and #2 on the side of the road is a health hazard.   7) Organize the Diaspora via the Ministry of the Diaspora. It is with great enthusiasm and a shared sense of optimism for the future of the Haitian Nation that I am participating in this FORUM. To promote the sustainable development and the Economic Growth of Haiti, our Haitian leaders need an Economic Development Strategic Plan (EDSP) and an Economic Model.

 

Haitian leaders need a bold, practical, and forward-thinking plan to change the trajectory of Haiti's economy by purposefully redesigning our business climate to increase the global competitiveness of the Republic of Haiti. In order to realise the Economic Competitiveness objectives, Haiti can have only one alternative in the global economy that to form highly trained human resources.

 

My dear friends,

 

Haiti needs our highly skilled and talented Haitian professionals. (La SUPER-CREME de la CREME)...Workforce and talent are the game changers in economic development today. Our Haitian leaders need the ability to retain, advance, and attract top talent in Haiti. This is the key driver in our ability to grow the Haitian  economy.

 

To promote economic growth, our Haitian leaders MUST work in tandem with business and industry to create a demand-driven workforce system to ensure ready and reliable access to a highly-skilled, highly-competitive 21st century workforce

Je vous salue mamans, pleines de bonté et de tendresse. Vous portez en vous le germe de la vie et de l’espoir de toute l’humanité. Je me prosterne à vos pieds, mères de toutes les races et de toutes les couleurs. Mères d’Asie et d’Afrique, Mères d’Europe et d’Amérique, Mères d’Haïti, par delà vos différences de langue, de culture, d’éducation et de richesse votre rôle est partout le même.

 

Maman, c’est le premier mot que prononce souvent l’enfant lors de son apprentissage de langage. Les psychanalystes de l’École freudienne évoquent cette symbiose complète de la mère avec son enfant durant la vie fœtale. Les traces de cet instinct de cramponnement à la mère persistent encore chez l’enfant à un âge très avancé. Chez certains adultes, la rupture de la relation symbiotique n’a jamais eu lieu. Quoique mariés certains hommes, certaines femmes n’arrivent pas encore à s'affranchir des liens de dépendance de leurs mères. Ils les consultent pour les moindres décisions de la vie courante et sollicitent leurs concours.

 

Dans ses moments de peur et de souffrance, c’est le mot maman qui échappe de la bouche de l’enfant. Jésus cloué sur la croix était beaucoup plus affligé par les larmes que versait Marie sa mère que par les tortures que lui infligeaient ses bourreaux. L’affleurement du langage chez l’enfant est lié aussi à la présence maternelle. C’est pourquoi nous ne maitrisons mieux d’autre langue que la langue maternelle c’est à dire celle que parle notre maman.

 

C’est l’Amérique en 1912 qui pour la première fois a consacré un jour spécial aux valeureuses mères de famille et les autres continents ont enchainé. Tout a commencé pendant la Grande Guerre. Avec les pertes massives en vie humaine, la mère a été mise à l’honneur en l’invitant à repeupler le pays meurtri et fauché de toutes ses forces vives.La mère est la grande ouvrière de la reproduction de la population. Si elle fléchit, tout est perdu.

 

De nos jours la fête des mères représente une aubaine commerciale pour les hommes d’affaires. Cependant la fête des mères demeure un moment d’intimité familiale. C’est l’occasion pour les enfants de remercier gentiment leur maman pour tout ce qu’elle a fait, de lui dessiner des cartes, de déposer une charmante lettre sur sa coiffeuse, de lui acheter des fleurs pour l’encourager. Il y a des milliers d’étoiles qui brillent dans le ciel et qui nous émerveillent, mais il n’y a qu’une maman pour chacun de nous.

 

Je vous félicite incomparables mères sans mari. Vous qui déployez des efforts insurmontables pour répondre aux besoins matériels de vos enfants et veiller à leurs éducations. Dans ce monde difficile, soumis aux penchants les plus pervers une famille monoparentale doit connaitre pas mal de péripéties pour permettre à ses enfants de rester sur le droit chemin.

 

Mes respects à l’infatigable mère rurale qui ne connait même pas les congés de grossesse. Quel que soit son état physique, elle participe aux durs travaux des champs, préparer à manger pour la corvée, porter le feu et distribuer l’eau aux travailleurs. La voilà quoique enceinte qui parcourt les monts et les vallées, s’engage dans des gorges étroites un panier rempli de produits agricoles sur la tête ou poussant le bourricot pour vendre les fruits de la récolte au marché. Elle n’a jamais failli à son rôle de mère. Les enfants l’attendent le soir à son retour pour préparer à manger.

Adorable mère Madame Sarah, vous troublez ma pensée. Je ne sais de quel courage vous êtes animées, de quels matériaux vous êtes faites pour vous lever si tôt le matin et vous coucher si tard le soir. Vous exposez votre vie sur un camion ou une carousselle, trainant vos étals de ville en village, de village en campagne afin de joindre les deux bouts. Votre absence à la maison vous crée beaucoup d’inquiétudes. Sans avoir le don d’ubiquité vous êtes à la fois au marché et à la maison tentant de tout mettre au point afin que votre absence ne crée aucun vide. Souvent vous rentrez à la maison bredouilles sans avoir fait aucune recette pour la journée. Mais vous n’osez communiquer votre lassitude ni votre déception à la maisonnée.

 

Admirable mère marchande, sous le chaud soleil de la Croix des Bossales, de Marché Salomon, de Marché Cluny, de Camp Périn, Marfranc, Moron, Chambellan, Gros Morne, au Poteau etc.. vous avez pu faire de vos enfants des médecins, des ingénieurs, des agronomes, des journalistes et des techniciens de tout accabit. Vous avez connu toutes les humiliations, vous avez subi les rigueurs du vent, de la pluie rien que pour entretenir votre famille.

 

Un regard compatissant pour ces courageuses mères de nos bidonvilles qui souvent n’ont rien à donner à manger à leurs enfants. Elles n’ont pas de quoi les vêtir. Elles aimeraient bien leur accorder une vie meilleure mais hélas elles n’ont pas les moyens économiques nécessaires. Malgré tout elles les comblent de leurs affections. Quel déchirement pour une mère pauvre qui doit se séparer de son enfant afin de le placer en domesticité parce qu’elle n’a pas de quoi subvenir à ses besoins.

 

Héroïque mère immigrante, je ne vous ai pas oubliée. Vous avez consenti le lourd sacrifice de vous arracher de votre terre natale, loin de vos parents et de vos amis pour offrir à vos enfants un avenir meilleur. Vous avez affronté les difficutés de votre terre d’accueil. Vous souffrez dans votre chair et dans votre sang, l’impact du choc culturel. Vous avez tout accepté, rien que pour le bonheur de vos enfants. Je vous dis: chapeau.

 

Un applaudissement pour ces mères qui ont vécu encore les douleurs de l’accouchement en apprenant que leurs fils ou leurs filles sont impliquées dans la drogue, la prostitution, la délinquance et les actes de banditisme. Malgré tout, elles ne les abandonnent pas. Au contraire, elles les supportent et les considèrent toujours comme leurs joyaux.

 

Que dire des mères disparues mais qui ont laissé un vide béant dans le cœur endolori de leurs enfants. Nous dédions une pensée spéciale aux mères décédées: Maman ta lampe s’est éteinte dans la nuit des temps mais l’ombre de tes grandes ailes planent encore sur le cœur de tes enfants. Nous implorons ton pardon pour les fautes commises et nous te disons merci, merci, merci.

 

Il n’y a aucun substitut à une mère. La mère est unique et définitivement irremplaçable. La mère est érigée en statue, chantée, contée, célébrée au cœur des mythes fondateurs de la civilisation humaine. Même si j’avais toute la surface de la terre comme papier, tous les océans comme encrier, tout le Web comme parchemin, j’en aurais jamais assez pour exprimer ce que mon cœur comporte d’amour et de reconnaissance pour une mère. Dans un pays détruit par les calamités de toutes sortes il n'y a qu'une maman qui soit capable de nous procurer un regain d'espoir et de vie.
