Water is a basic human right. Yet, up to 30 thousand people die each day as a consequence of its shortage.

 

In this issue of Contours we focus on the importance of water in tourism which is notorious for its high consumption of this precious natural resource. And yet again, we ask the same question- why are the needs of tourists put above the needs of local people?
