Honestly, this is completely silly. How long does it take to build a simple framework to showcase ColdFusion? Either get this done and do it right, or get out of the way and let us, the community, put this together for you.

John, nothing prevents you from creating a similar project either individually or with other like minded people.  I don't think that Adobe is going to directly realize a profit through this project and I, for one, am happy that they are making the effort.  Also, it would be presumptuous to believe that there is a dedicated team working round-the-clock on this that just can't get it done.  More likely is that the group working on it is balancing this project along with a lot of other demands on their time. In fact, after talking to James last Thursday, I know that he does have other projects affecting his schedule.

I look forward to the release of Tour De ColdFusion.  And, seriously and sincerely, please let us know when yours is ready for us to peruse as I am sure that it will be a valuable asset to the community as well.

Best regards,

Jason

Actually, this is to promote their product? So they do profit from our efforts to help. Sorry but it doesn't take a team of developers and months to set this up, and they can multitask just like most of us do everyday.
