I been trying to download Windows Pro into my toughbook cf-28, it gets
to 34 min on the installing devices and stays there with no movement
or time drop. I tried this with different disc and having the same
problem, IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP ME GET THROUGH THIS,
THANK YOU.

I don't own my Toughbook any more. Have you verified that the hard
drive is in usable condition?

Maybe the mbr needs to be zeroed.

Perhaps you need to pull it, IDE adapter it and load the Vinders on a
desktop.

Lookup - slipstreaming SPs

Look at archives in Yahoo and the Toughbook wiki.

I have a set of 4 disks for loading either/ or W2K XP for the CF-28.
I'll send you a set for postage and whatnot.
If your machine did not originally have XP selected _these_ disks will
not work (to install XP) though.
