Mudder Nation,

I hope all is well.

I wanted to check in with everyone as I had you guys on my mind and a picture of us currently at my desk. I have another Tough Mudder this Saturday in Wisconsin (brrr!) so I've been spending the last few months running through our circuits again and reliving our previous nightmare.

Ultimately, I wouldn't be doing this again if I hadn't had such a good group of cool cats crossing the finish line with me 14 months ago. You guys rock!

I hope everyone continues to fight the good fight!

Well, this just made my day -- though it's hard for me not to feel you're a bit of a traitor Tough Mudding without the team! :) good luck in the Mudder!

Mudder Nation,

Wisconsin was a huge success although I broke my big toe doing awesome flips and shit.

A few things I learned from a second Mudder:

1. Georgia was way harder than the Wisconsin Mudder mostly because of the obstacles and lack of mud. If I recall from Georgia, 75-80% of the entire course was coated in deep black mud which made running so much more tiring. Wisconsin's course was maybe 25% mud and the obstacles were nothing special.

2. The pump up guy who talks to you right before you take off for the race listed the top three high-intensity Mudder locations in his opinion which came to: Anywhere in Canada, anywhere in Texas, and the lone Georgia Mudder. He personally brought up our Georgia Mudder last year as one of the hardest races with the wildest participants.

I thought you guys would be proud to know that our Mudder was the best and will always be the best!
