It's that time of year. We have less than 2 months and it will be more helpful for everyone to train if they know what exactly they have ahead of them. In the interest of not forcing difficulty on someone, I think it is easiest to self-place ourselves into tiers.
Through a review of the distances and elevations I have placed the legs into three separate tiers (by no means definitive):
Tier 1: 7, 9, 2, 3
Tier 2: 12, 10, 1, 5
Tier 3: 4, 8, 11, 6
*Note that each tier has 2 runners in early car and 2 runners in late car
Please think through where you are in the training and submit to the group which tier you think you are best suited for. After the tiers have been decided, each tier can decide amongst themselves which specific leg they will take.
As a sad side note, I received an X-ray yesterday and have a sprain/torn ligament in my foot (best news it could have been!) which has put me out the last few weeks and should take around 2 more weeks to heal. I will then ease back into training, but I fully plan to participate in the race if I am able. If I cannot get up to speed in time for October 25th, I have secured a backup.
