Connection timed out during banner exchange

I am unable to ssh into my Production server which is running Ubuntu
8.04, openssh is installed. I get the following errors:

I have another ubuntu Server running 8.10 with openssh and I have no
problems logging into it via the TouchTerm.

Anyone have any idea why I can login or what I can do to fix this?

Are the two servers, by chance, on different networks?

this error is usually caused by a firewall that allows TT to connect,
but then doesn't permit any network traffic. is it possible you have a
network or server firewall that could be blocking the connection?

this can also happen when trying to connect to a service that isn't
SSH...you're on port 22, so this is unlikely, but if a web server or
something else were listening on port 22, then this error may occur.
