I think it would be great if you had a master password feature. You
would tap to run the program and before you could proceed you would
have to enter a master password. This would make me more comfortable
about having full connections with passwords and make the program more
useful to me. Just a suggestion.

Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion!

We've been considering this one for a while, but haven't yet had too
much demand for it. We'll move up the priority list and try to get it
in the next one or two updates.

Thank you. I appreciate your consideration. I would be willing to pay
more for knowing my server connections have a basic level of security
on the app itself.

And if you're keeping score, I'd like the master password, too! :)

I touch-type and remember all my passwords by "finger memory". As a
result, it really is very cumbersome for me to type my passwords in TT
Pro. I would love to let the program save my passwords for me, but I
cannot allow it if they will be stored in plain text.

So, +1 from me too on the master password feature!

Cheers!

I'd like the master password too.. but not as much as xterm, screen
rotation locking, fixing the gnu screen input hiding... :)

Oops, I think I did "Reply to author" instead of "Reply" before! For
those who save their passwords, the Master Password is a great idea.
Now take that one step further, for us folks who exclusively use keys,
wouldn't it be cool to have the Master Password unlock all private
keys (assuming all keys had the same passphrase) at one go? That sure
would be nice.... You could set the key system up so that it
recognized your Master Password, and decrypted the private keys based
on that. I hate having my keys unencrypted/without a passphrase.
That would be a useful feature, for sure!
