I feel like an idiot asking this, but I really can't seem to get this
done. I want to copy text out of my terminal and into another app
(safari).

Here's the steps I follow:
- launch touch term pro and login to a server
- two finger tap to invoke the red selection markers
- place the markers
- single tap in upper left to copy (a "1" is flashed and the selection
markers flash yellow and disappear)
- hit the home button to close the app
- switch to safari
- tap the google search box, hold finger on the input area, release
finger, then tap "paste"
- nothing happens. (actually, what happens is that whatever I had in
the clipboard before I used touchterm pro is pasted, if anything.)

Am I missing something? This use case is actually the whole reason I
bought the app :/

It appears that TT is using an internal buffer - not to be confused
with the iPhone buffer which was implemented after TT's (if I remember
correctly).

A work-around, while not the best solution, is to use TT's ability to
email its copy buffer (or screen or entire buffer), and highlight and
copy the desired text from the email client. You don't actually need
to send the email, but you will need to highlight and copy again to
put it in the iPhone buffer.

Interesting workaround. Thank you for the clarification - I obviously
and erroneously assumed it was using the regular iphone clipboard!

I have the opposite problem. I want to copy text from, say, Safari
and paste it in to the TT console. Is there any way to do this?
