Is Native Midi support available yet?

Hi Guy,

Native MIDI got sidetracked for a while because of a combination of frustrating bureaucratic factors beyond my control and general lack of time. But it is basically done -- more features and bugfixes were added this summer -- and it just needs some final testing before I release it. The hardware is in my office ready to ship as soon as that happens! I'm hoping that will be this month, but I'm also aware that it has been so long that I'm sure everyone will believe it when they see it. :-)

So basically, stay tuned, and I hope to have more details very soon. Likewise, for anyone who wrote to me previously about wanting the Native MIDI option, I will contact you directly with more info. Thanks for your patience!

Best wishes,
Andrew

P.S. I think the Windows 10 workaround did work, but I don't have a suitable machine to test on. Anyone who knows the current status, especially with the latest drivers from ST, please let me know. I will also try to dig into this myself soon (but native MIDI is priority #1 at this point).

Hi all,
I will check what driver is installed on my W10 system tomorrow but I didn't have any problem when I installed it in February.

Regards, Marcel

Hi all,

I checked 2 systems. 1 was Windows7 home which is upgraded to Windows10 home.

There usbser.inf is used together wit stmcdc.inf andoem46.inf version 1.3.1.0

On another Windows10 (pro) only usbser.inf is used. I just plugged it in and didn't need to install anything. It simply made a virtual comport which I could select in TouchKeys software.
