Seeking input about transferring TouchKeys from one Keyboard to another?

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well!
I was curious if anyone has any experience in removing the touch keys sensors from one keyboard to another. I have not yet attempted this but will be soon. Have any of you tried this?
Would heating them up to a certain temperature allow the adhesives to release easier?
Is heating them up even necessary?
Any advice would be welcomed!
