Hi Andrei (and all),
Sorry for the radio silence lately. Between various university teaching and research responsibilities, I find my time divided into progressively smaller fragments. For that reason, not a whole lot has happened on the software recently. :(
On the other hand, in preparation for the eventual next production run, I plan to hire someone part-time to take on some of these software development tasks so things should start moving again. There's no way we can match the pace of a big development team like Roli, but my goal is to maintain a solid, interconnectable piece of software that works well with other tools. (Right now, for Max, I recommend using the OSC output from the TK software.)
MPE support is definitely part of the near-term plan. From there, we can look at how easy or difficult it would be to wrap the current standalone app into other environments. My sense is that given limited development resources, I'd rather prioritise new features, mappings and continued maintenance of the three OS platforms over hosting the software in different environments. However I do see the value in having the TK support embedded within Max or various DAWs, so this is worth a look. (The software is also open-source if anyone wants to take a look at what it would take.)
The other priority is the standalone hardware board. I will keep you updated here on my progress.
Best wishes,
Andrew
