Suggestion for Future Runs / Possible Feel Improvement

Thinking about the key surface feel, and the feel of the rough edges, I think the easiest solution for that in future runs might be to make the surface covering a little wider on each side, by 1 mm or whatever the sensor height is, and just fold it over the edges.
