I have a malfunctioning "pointing stick" (AccuPoint) that causes cursor
drift all the time, and since it's a PS/2 device I can't disable it using
control panel. Being able to disable it all the time would be excellent.

My grandmother uses my old laptop and, for all the 1000 obvious reasons,
could also benefit from a completely disabled touchpad.

I've tried uninstalling the touchpad drivers, but they keep reinstalling
themselves. This program could be a great help once this feature is
implemented.

I have an old notebook with a faulty touchpad, which caused erratic mouse
behavior. I tried very hard to disable the touchpad by software, but I
wasn't able to do so, so I opened it and disconnected the flat cable
connecting the touchpad to the mainboard... Until this feature is
implemented I think it's a cumbersome but reasonable solution.
