widget not updating on Galaxy S3

Touch Calendar 1.1.23

I have a 4x1 widget showing 1 week starting with the current day. When I create the widget, everything is fine. The appropriate events are displayed. However, the widget is not updating with new information.

• If I add an event (to a calendar that is selected to be displayed), that event is not displayed in the widget.
  
• If I delete an event, that event is still displayed in the widget.
• If I open Touch Calendar (both by tapping the widget or launching from the apps list), everything looks correct.
• If I use the refresh button on the widget, I do see the "Updating" message on the screen, but when it disappears, nothing has changed.
• If I tap the edit button, I do get the settings screen, and it appears to let me make changes (change font size, calendars selected, first day, etc), but no matter what I change the widget does not update.
• If I create a new widget somewhere else, it is created with the correct information at that point in time, but then that one does not update either.
• I have tried various widget sizes, and all behave the same.

Any ideas?  I used this app a ton on my Droid X and LOVED it, so I hope to get it working on the Galaxy S3.

Hi.

Thanks for getting in touch. Have you checked the 'select calendars' setting for the widget? The widget can be set to show different calendars from the main app, so it could be that some calendars are not selected. You can access the widget settings using the icon next to the refresh icon.

Upon further review, other widgets also had the same basic problem. I think I found a launcher that was messing up all my widgets, so it looks like this had nothing to do with Touch Calendar.

It was Launch-X Pro. I contacted the developer, and they sent me a beta release that solved the problem.

I am having the same issue but I do not have a launcher on my device. My facebook and google calendar events will show then I will get a error pop up tha that it has suddenly stopped. And on the widget it will show that i have not events or in the calendar then later it will show up again. Is there a way to fix this?
