What is different about your codes that touch code isn't doing already? We expected a significant change but don't see it. Touch code did these tests in the past in order to determine production codes and quantity of read areas.

We need to understand that you have something different in order to bump another piece of art off the press run.

Also, the line between circles is too thin and will give very high resistance using a carbon ink. This will require an expensive silver.

I'm not sure if you have already submitted the designs for printing, but if you haven't, I have made some edits to the designs, which I have attached.  Each of the files is to be scaled to a 2 inch x 3.5 inch card.

File 1: We have combined our tests for the minimum dot size and the minimum dot separation onto the same card.  From left, for the first three elements, the diameters of the dots are 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm.  The fourth element has two 7mm diameter dots separated by 3mm, then 4mm.

File 2: This is a test to check for pixel accuracy when the same designs are printed.  Both of the elements on the card should be identical, and the dots have a diameter of 7mm.

As we had discussed last week, we have attached a few design prototypes that we'd like your help in printing.

I believe you told us that we have space for four 6cm x 9cm cards, which is the size of about four business cards.  For the files below, we have formatted the printing area such that it would be in 2 x 3.5 inch card - the size of a standard US business card.  We have attached the designs in pdf format, but let us know if you would prefer it to be in svg (standard vector graphics), jpeg, png, or other formats instead.

File 1: A test of different dot sizes that can be recognized by the iPhone screen; from left, the diameters of the dots should be 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm.

File 2: A test of minimum dot spacings that can be recognized by the iPhone screen; from left, the distance from the edge of one dot to the edge of the next dot should be: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm.  The diameters of all the dots in this file are to be 7mm across.

File 3 (to be printed twice): A sample card with a five dot pattern.  We would like to have this printed twice.  The objective here is to test whether the printer can print accurately enough such that the same designs would register as the same pixels when read on the phone.  The diameters of all the dots in this file are to be 7mm across.

Please let me know if this is sufficient or if you have any other questions.  I figured it would be good to send it to you today in case we have any changes we need to finalize for tomorrow.
