What is the aprox. size of the whole "articles" backup you have?
And do you have all of the categorys?
And they most like are static HTML.
Have you converted the links to ./ for local usage.
And what is the date of your backup.

I'm asking more likely to have the articles for own enjoyment and for later on backuping and for storage purposes that if anyone would want them out in the later future.

approx size is 1.5 GBs only and some articles are
missin...still....the whole things not GONE...and yes it can be used
standalone ....the stuff is kinda like a HUGE save file:P..and the
