This course aims to provide people already working or wishing to enter the generic manufacturing industry with the skills and knowledge required to operate forklift. The Competency unit would be appropriate for people with job title such as Forklift driver.
- Learners must be above 18 years of age
- be able to interpret work instructions and technical information;
- be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 3; (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
- be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ESS level 3; and (Applies to English Courses ONLY)
- Be able to process numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ESS level 3

It is mandatory for all forklift drivers in Singapore to have attended a WSQ Operate Forklift course conducted by a SSG approved provider like AAT Training Hub Pte. Ltd. The responsibility of only allowing persons is on the company owners and employers.
Upon fulfilling the course requirements with a minimum attendance rate of 75% and demonstrating proficiency in the assessments, candidates will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from AAT Training Hub, along with a nationally recognised

The objective of the WSQ Operate Forklift courses is to properly equip trainees with the skills and knowledge required to carry out forklift operations safely and efficiently. Depending on whether you have a Class 3 driving licence, the course will be either 3 or 4 days. Upon completion of the course, trainees will be awarded an SOA under the Singapore WSQ Framework. Should participants fail the final assessment, they will also be allowed to retake either the theory or practical portion.
